AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+: tests!
Advanced Micro Devices today officially unveiled the most powerful version of the Athlon 64 X2 processor family.
The 6000+, 90nm bandwidth dual-core processor has a true clock speed of 3,0 GHz and a second-level cache size of 2 × 1 MB. The top model in the Athlon 64 X2 family is available for a high-volume order of at least 1000 pieces for $ 464 each.

In addition to the state-of-the-art processor, two power-saving dual-core CPUs with just 45 watts of TDP power consumption were introduced: the Athlon 65, made with 64nm manufacturing technology, costs $ 3500 and $ 3800, respectively, for the 88+ and 93+ units.
