Albatron K8NF4X-AM2

Albatron has released its nForce2-4x chipset with AM4 socket.

The card supports AMD’s latest AM2 encapsulated Manila processors, with four memory slots that can hold up to 4GB of 533/667 DDR2 memory. The chipset works with quadruple HyperTransport (800 MHz) by default, however, in the BIOS this can be easily changed to 5x, i.e. 1000MHz. The sound is provided by a six-channel Realtek AC97 and the network is provided by a Broadcom 10/100 Mbps controller. The video card can be connected to a 16x PCIe interface, and the other devices will have 3 x 1 PCIe and 2 conventional PCI buses. Hard disks and optical drives can be accessed via a SATA 150Mb / s interface, which supports the creation of RAID arrays. Based on the layout of the motherboard PCB, versions with nForce4 Ultra and SLI chipsets are also expected.
