POV thoroughly overcharged the GeForce GT 640

The POV / TGT GeForce GT 640 Ultra Charged could have already received the GHz Edition token from AMD.

The card uses the GM28 graphics processor, which is built on the 107MC bandwidth of the TSMC and uses 384 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory bus. The engineers thoroughly stepped down on the reference clocks recommended by NVIDIA, trying to maximize performance. The GPU runs at 900 MHz instead of 1006 MHz, and the 2GB of GDDR3 onboard memory runs at 2,02 GHz, while the factory clock is only 1,782 GHz. In the near future, versions that use significantly faster GDDR5 memories could be made in the near future - in our opinion, the GT 640 would really come true with that. The controller is still based on a full-height printed circuit board or has a cooling system that occupies 1 slot.

The POV / TGT GT 640 Ultra Charged is now available for € 115.
