Low latency 2 GHz DDR3 from Kingston
Manufacturers are no longer just competing with raw clocks.
Just remember: last year in October Kingston was the first to release a three-channel DDR2000 package playing at 3 MHz. Since then, of course, competitors have launched similar products in a row, but now it’s time for Kingston to regain a nose-long advantage again, as it has announced its modules with more favorable latency.
If we look at the picture above, the situation is immediately clear: we are talking about new members of the HyperX family. The blue rib is very typical of this series, but now we can talk about a slightly enlarged surface, which may even come in handy when overdriving. The RAMs have a timing of 8-8-8-24, which requires 1,65 V at 2 GHz - meaning it still fits into Intel's recommendation (as far as the Core i7 is concerned).
Packages are available in 3 and 6 GB packages; they are being bribed around $ 300 to $ 470 overseas.
