AGP GeForce 7900 GS and 7950 GT: Arrived!

The news turned out to be true, and in response to the AGP version of the Radeon X1950 Pro, the first high-end GeForce 7 video cards with the same interface were released.

The latest members of the GeForce 7 series were the first to appear in the XFX offering, a company that not only outperformed competitors, but immediately launched AGP graphics controllers in two versions.

The 450 MHz clock speed of the GPU is the same for both GeForce 7900 GS, the only difference being the operating frequency of 256 MB of GDDR3, which can be effectively 1,2 or 1,32 GHz depending on the model.

In the case of the 7950 GT, the graphics processor ticks at 550 MHz, but here you can choose the card with two types of memory capacity: in the case of the 512 MB version we have to calculate with a lower clock signal (1,2 GHz), while in the case of the 256 MB version we have to 1,32 GHz is the operating frequency.
