AGEIA PPU plans

AGEIA refuses to bury its physical coprocessor.

According to the head of the company, they are very much looking forward to Cellfactor: Revolution and Warmonger: Operation Downtown Destruction games, which will already seriously use the capabilities of their product.

It is well known that the slippage of toys has put the company in serious trouble because we cannot use the iron announced with the big dirrel-dura to this day. For its price, we can buy a mid-range VGA card, which strongly questions the viability of a card that, in addition to making extra noise in the machine, is not worth much to the average user.

AGEIA plans to resolve the possibility of using multiple cards together soon, and are also in talks with AMD. Intel and NVIDIA have also been contacted, but we don’t yet know which company can be persuaded to integrate PPU into their own product.

The future of the AEGIA PPU is also called into question by the fact that ATI and NVIDIA have been floating their own PPU options for some time and translating the computing power of mid-range VGA cards for this purpose. All forms of initiative are helpful, so we look forward to continuing.
