The Cooler Master computer case rests on steel foundations

In terms of design, the Cosmos 1000 is a real masterpiece: rounded edges delimit mirror-smooth surfaces free of kitschy elements.

The gross weight of the computer case of 18,9 kilograms is not at all surprising in light of the fact that the inner frame is made entirely of steel and the outer elements are made of aluminum, and the soles and handles for easier portability add quite a few grams to the total weight.

The 266 × 598 × 628 mm body meets the space requirements of the average user to the maximum, with 5 5,25 and 6 3,5-inch slots and 7 socket cutouts for different components. Fresh air is provided by 2 cm fans at the front, rear and top (12 pieces) at 1200 rpm and a noise level of 17 dB. A 12 cm fan for direct cooling of hard disks, like the ATX power supply, is optional and is not part of the basic package.
