Volkswagen, Google and NVIDIA car navigation system

Volkswagen has announced that it has long been working on a three-dimensional navigation system that uses satellite imagery from Google Earth and a graphics accelerator developed by NVIDIA. With this solution, it will certainly be easier to navigate our vehicle to the right place.

The American division of Volkswagen AG is working on a concept car that projects a bird's-eye view of the driver using Google's satellite map. The system mainly helps passengers to identify their position with the help of landmarks around them.
