Famous for their strange USB designs, Dutch Deonet has come up with another curiosity. They say they plan to launch the world’s smallest USB “drives” in January.

Despite their size, these little things can easily fit in with the big ones, as these devices, which are only 4 x 8 x 16 millimeters, will be able to store 31,5-, 14,8 and 7,3 gigabytes of data.

The whole implementation is based on the so-called Micro UDP chip. As a result, it is less than half the size of any other USB solution currently. For the time being, we do not have accurate information on the official appearance and end-user price, but it will certainly be available to users as early as January.
