“Telenor's goal is to provide the best customer experience we have, so we strived to build the best possible quality and fastest mobile internet network. I am proud to have completed this work ahead of schedule and to have reached Hipernet by Christmas for all settlements where the 3G network was already available. In just a few months, two hundred thousand new subscribers have joined Telenor's mobile internet network and today every second customer buys a smartphone - this is the best feedback we can get, ”said Christopher Laska, CEO of Telenor Magyarország Zrt.

As part of the network development program, the company has replaced a total of 2011 base stations and installed 2100 new stations since January 200, making the Hipernet service available in about 672 municipalities. In addition to the fact that mobile internet with a nominal maximum download speed of 42Mbps is now available to users in all settlements where there was a 3G network, the service provider has adapted 53 2G stations to provide Hipernet service to provide the widest possible range of today's requirements. faster data transfer.

“Public statistics also show that the amount of data sold by Telenor customers has increased 3 times in recent months and the mobile internet traffic of our customers is by far the highest. Our network is now able to meet these expectations in high quality, as we have increased the capacity of the stations within the framework of the network modernization program, thus ensuring a better quality and more stable connection. In the coming months, we will strive for fine-tuning, as well as improving indoor coverage with new stations and connecting new areas to the XNUMXG network, ”said József Huszlicska, Deputy Chief Technical Officer of Telenor Hungary.
