Sony is also adding new members to the VAIO C and S series
More than 20 new laptops from various vendors arrived this week, most of them greeting the Sandy Bridge platform, but Sony is also a bit in favor of 3D lovers.
The C series includes machines with a 14-inch LED-backlit display - 1366 × 768 resolution. Built on Intel’s fresh Huron River platform, the VAIO is packed with a 2,3GHz Core i5-2410M dual-core CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 320GB of HDD, Radeon HD 6470M graphics and a DVD burner. 2 and 3 dimensional videos can be output via the HDMI port, so presumably there is HDMI 1.4a in the mobile PC marching in five colors - black, white, orange, green, pink.
As well as 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, Exmor HD web camera, Dolby Home Theater audio, multitouch touchpad, and a USB 3.0 connector can also be found on the "deck". The new pieces will arrive in March, pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit operating system.
The previous family is more youthful, while the S series shows a more serious, thoughtful face. Thanks to its magnesium housing, it withstands creasing quite well and is of course based on Sandy Bridge. The 24-millimeter "thick" machine weighs 1,75 kilograms, but it is not a large piece, as it only has a 13,3-inch display. Inside, however, they already have a real big bed, a 2,7 GHz Core i7-2620M processor, a pity 8 GB of memory and an HD 6470M or HD 6630M video card.
In addition to the DVD burner, an SSD or HDD is responsible for the data, or our files can also be saved to an external winchester via two USB 3.0 ports. You also have the essential accessories: 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, optional 3G, HD webcam. The battery can provide a maximum of 7 hours of operation. Unfortunately, we don't know about the price of the devices, but it will arrive in March in the same way as the new member of the C series.
