Seasonic has come up with new power supplies

The manufacturer has come up with special products that have also achieved 80 Plus Platinum certification.

Seasonic has introduced brand new power supplies that feature hybrid cooling in addition to excellent efficiency. Due to the latter, the novelties can be called special, as the manufacturer will place a switch on them, which allows the customer to choose between two modes. The first mode passively cools the product up to a load of 40%, if this value is reached, the 12 cm fan will start. The second mode deactivates the passive cooling, ie the fan will run even at very low loads, albeit at a much lower speed. For the time being, there are two models in the AP series, one with a 1000-watt and an 860-watt unit. Both are rated 80 Plus Platinum, so you can’t have a bad word for efficiency. Power supplies with active PFC will use a single 12-volt branch, in addition to using fully modular cabling.

The two new products will start on Computex, while the manufacturer will refine them. The 860-watt P-860XP has a suggested retail price of $ 219, while the 1000-watt P-1000X has a price tag of $ 269. By the way, Seasonic will also expand the X series with a 1050 and a 1250 watt product.
