The EDGE-HD3 has been given a further polished version of its proven, sleek and slim design. But of course, not only has the design become prettier and thinner, but there has also been some change under the “hood”. The increased performance is due to the E450 APU technology, which was included in the specification courtesy of AMD.

Thanks to its small size and components that provide quite good performance, we get a specially compact and multifunctional computer. Based on his size - which is pretty much the closest to an average router - it’s very easy for him to find a place, whether for office use, for educational purposes, or just for simple home entertainment. Compared to a normal PC, it takes up significantly less space, is easier to move, so it can easily become lovable in both office and educational institutions. You can also look great next to an HDTV or a monitor in our home.

Even though the components provided by AMD add a little cocoa to the system, it does not increase its appetite. SAPPHIRE is especially proud of the EDGE-HD3’s energy efficiency performance. It is said to operate at just 30 W even under heavier loads.

To see a little more clearly, let’s take some data from the specification. As mentioned above, the AMD E450 APU comes with 4 gigabytes of DDR3 system memory and a 320 gigabyte hard drive. Network access is provided in both wired and wireless formats. Arriving at the ports section, we can see that the USB 3.0 ports will not be left out, we will have 2 numbers in addition to the 2 traditional USB 2.0 ports. Thanks to the HDMI output, watching full HD videos on a TV or monitor shouldn't be a problem either (SAPPHIRE is definitely a plus because they'll come with an HDMI cable and an HDMI-DVI adapter).

SAPPHIRE EDGE HD3 is compatible with any previous Windows operating system (7, Vista, XP) and comes with all the drivers required for installation. So far, the official release date has not been revealed, nor has the end-user price of the EDGE-HD3.
