Nintendo dominates the console market

The PlayStation 3 only drops at the end of the sales list.

According to May sales data, the market is still dominated by Nintendo’s two successful products, the DS and the Wii. 423000 units of the small handheld console and 338000 units of the swinging, swinging Wii were sold during the month of May. Third and fourth on the list were leased by Sony, with 221000 from the PSP and 2 from the big old PlayStation 188000.

They bought as many from the two Nintendo consoles as they did from the other four combined

The new generation of power plants is yet to come, 155000 have been sold from Microsoft’s console, and only 3 have chosen Sony’s all-shell-smeared PlayStation 82000. The latter would be well suited for a more serious price reduction, otherwise even this number could be underestimated.
