NeoCore apologized to the Hungarian King Arthur II players

Unfortunately, one of the best Hungarian-made games in Hungary is only available in English. The development team outlines the current situation with a letter in the news.
King-Arthur-2-33
“Several people have written to us about the Hungarian version of King Arthur II, when the Hungarian translation will be made for it, and whether it will be like that at all. We also learned that you contacted us not only with the question, but also with the Hungarian distributor of the game, CNG.HU. Unfortunately, neither we, the developers, nor the Hungarian distributor can give a definite answer to these questions, because the publisher of the game, Paradox Interactive, is responsible for localization issues.

Since we received an order for an English version from the publisher, the game was immediately written in English and never made in Hungarian. We do not make the Hungarian translation, in fact, we do not have the right to publish anything for the game in Hungarian, as all rights belong to the publisher. One thing we would do with it was to incorporate it into the game as soon as it was done. The problem is that to date no Hungarian translation has been made, so we couldn't incorporate it. Whether there will be a Hungarian translation at all, and if so, when, about a Paradox Support Center you can inquire through.

We also know that many people are (quite rightly) disappointed by the lack of the Hungarian language, but we as developers, unfortunately, do not know what to do, the publisher should be harassed in this regard. The situation is similar on the part of the distributor, they also expect the publisher to solve the problem.

However, in order to make you feel a little better, we are happy to offer everyone who has honored us their trust and purchased the boxed Hungarian version of King Arthur II to get a free Steam version of The Incredible Adventures from us for proof of purchase. of our game called Van Helsing, as it appears, is expected to end this year or early next year. Please send such requests to [email protected] with your Steam username (on which the Hungarian version of King Arthur II has been activated).

The offer of the domestic distributor can be chosen: either a Fallout III PC game with Hungarian subtitles or a Civilization IV: Colonization PC game with Hungarian subtitles. ”

We believe that NeoCore and the Hungarian distributor have set an example in this situation, but we are also very curious about the opinions of our readers.
