The increased capacity Kingston Wi-Drive is now available in an Android version
Kingston has announced a browser update to Kingston Wi-Drive.
The update allows cross-platform wireless streaming to any Wi-Fi compatible device via a web browser. By extending device support, users can simultaneously access and share content stored on their Wi-Drive from three or more users at the same time from their favorite mobile devices. With built-in Wi-Fi and four hours of battery life, Kingston Wi-Drive offers sleek, functional portable storage and easy file sharing for Apple iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch®, Android and Kindle Fire, among others.
In addition to the existing 32GB, the new Wi-Fi available in the 64GB version allows for even more sharing and further expands the storage space of all Wi-Fi compatible devices. Kingston also offers optimized applications for the device, providing additional services to users. With a wide variety of Android-based products, Wi-Drive offers the most versatile experience for users who can choose which web browser and application they want to access or share their media content with. The Wi-Drive app for Android devices is now available in the Google Play App Store.
Wi-Drive users of apps for Kindle Fire and Apple devices will be automatically notified of updates, and apps will be downloaded completely in the new version. The free Wi-Drive app is available for the Kindle Fire in the Amazon Appstore and for Apple devices in the App Store.
