Lenovo comes out with a new IdeaPad
Maybe we’re living the last moments when it’s worth releasing a netbook, here the iPad and the competitors we admit are better than undersized laptops.
The new IdeaPad S10-3s is most similar to the original S10-3 model, but the updated "shell" is only 16 mm thick and has a 10-inch LCD (1024 x 600 or 1280 x 720 resolution). Of course, we can choose the usual 1,66 GHz Atom N450 or 1,83 GHz N470 as a processor, in addition to one or even two GB of RAM, 160/250/320 GB hard disk or 16/32 GB We can pack an SSD and a 3- or 6-cell battery under the keyboard. Perhaps we shouldn't even mention the basic 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and the optional 3G.
The IdeaPad S10-3s comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter, but as they say in the TV-Shop, that's not all, so far only the Premium category Lenovo came with the Active Protection System, but this machine is now also provided by the manufacturer. The netbook can be taken home from mid-April for lucky ones starting at $ 380.
