The HTC Windows Phone 8X will clearly be the company’s flagship in the category. It got a 4,3-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display, protected by Gorilla Glass. System speed is provided by the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, which ticks at 1,5 GHz per core. The processor is supported by Adreno 225 GPU and 1 GB RAM. On the back we find an 8 Megapixel optics that has a 28mm viewing angle and is also capable of capturing full HD videos. Above the display is a 2,1 Megapixel sensor, and it is worth mentioning that it is also capable of recording full HD videos. The device will have 16GB of built-in memory, but it can be further expanded with a microSD card. The smartphone may appear in stores in early November, but the price is not yet known.

The phone is also based on the Snapdragon S4 processor, but here it only operates at 1 GHz. The Adreno 225 GPU can also be found in the 8S, with "only" 512 MB of memory. The display is provided by a 4-inch WVGA resolution display, which is also protected by Gorilla Glass. The specification also includes the 5 Megapixel camera and 4 GB of internal memory. So far, there is no information on when and how much the device will be available for purchase.
