Google Android is used by HTC Hero

After the T-Mobile G1 and HTC Magic, HTC has unveiled its third Google Android-based smartphone.

Measuring 112mm × 56,2mm × 14,35mm and weighing just 135 grams, the quad-band HTC Hero is familiar with the HSDPA (7,2 Mbps) mobile communications protocol, with a touch-sensitive display of 3,2 inches and 320 × 480 pixels. , its autofocus camera has a 5 megapixel 528 MHz processor from Qualcomm, 512 MB of ROM and 288 MB of RAM, which can even be expanded via the microSD slot.

HTC Hero comes with Adobe Flash support with version 1.5 of the Google Android operating system, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth receiver, USB port and a 3,5mm jack. The white and brown smartphone will be available in Europe in July, but will not go on sale in the U.S. and Asia until the end of the year.
