Gainward is the first to say goodbye to G80 GeForces

The 92 GT and GTS cards with G8800 chips are slowly taking over.

According to the manufacturer’s website, the withdrawal of the old GeForce 80 Ultra, GTS 8800 and GTS 640 cards, equipped with the old G320 core, has begun, meaning Gainward would gradually focus on the new 8800 GT and GTS controllers. Of course, they want to launch several versions of the new heroes, in addition to the usual Golden Sample releases, individuals with increased memory have also appeared in the product range.

Only one model seems to have survived the upgrade wave, with the 8800 GTX still enjoying its current position at the beginning of the range in normal status.
