Fujitsu is expanding its LED display portfolio with new models

Fujitsu has announced that it will be the first of the leading manufacturers to switch to LED backlighting in all display families, demonstrating its continued commitment to eco-friendly solutions and innovation.

With the introduction of LED (Light Emitting Diode) backlighting in the P, B and E display families, Fujitsu is the first supplier to offer exclusively mercury-free displays in its entire portfolio. End users benefit from the deeper contrast and lower power consumption of LED displays. Now that all of Fujitsu’s display families work with LED backlighting, their power consumption can be up to 30 percent lower than the latest Energy Star requirements.

Fujitsu's updated display portfolio also offers a number of convenience features. All three new series (E, B and P) are equipped with Fujitsu’s eco-friendly ECO button and status LED to inform you about switching to energy-saving mode.

Thanks to the complete product change, Fujitsu can satisfy any need with LED displays at all levels, from all-round to superior. E Line displays provide superior entry-level performance at an affordable price for normal business users looking for a cost-effective solution in their daily office operations, as well as optimized image quality and a variety of energy-saving features.

For more intensive office use, Fujitsu has further developed its advanced B Line display specification, keeping in mind an even more hassle-free and comfortable visual experience. Thanks to the flexible, height-adjustable base, the user can adjust to a comfortable and healthy working position, and the four USB ports provide a convenient way to connect external devices. With Fujitsu DisplayView software, companies can extend PC monitoring to the display - allowing end-user displays to be restarted and adjusted remotely while LED lighting reduces their power consumption.

The new P and B Line displays are extremely versatile to position. Both product families have a height-adjustable base and a rotation function (automatic for the P family) (Pivot and Auto-Pivot) - so it can also be used in a standing position.

The top-of-the-line P Line displays, which are the top segment in the range, are ideal for advanced users who require high graphics performance. They can display up to 1 billion colors and 3,7 million pixels (P27), which is about 80 percent more than what is typical of 40-inch Full HD TVs. The AP family also responds to the needs of graphic artists and healthcare professionals with a variety of features (e.g., optimized grayscale performance). By pressing the D-Mode button, the user can select a factory-set Gamma curve optimized according to the DICOM grayscale standard, on which even the finest grayscale deviations can be easily identified. Thanks to the image quality achieved in this way, the new display is suitable for replacing expensive diagnostic displays in the healthcare environment.

Among Fujitsu's proven energy-saving features, the P family supports zero-watt off-mode power consumption, Eco system and automatic brightness control.
