Bigfoot Networks has its latest network card for gamers

California-based Bigfoot Networks recommends its network card to those who count every millisecond.

The network device, marketed as the Killer 2100, fits into the PCI-Express x1 slot on our motherboard. The card, which can be connected to the network via a gigabit Ethernet connector, does a 400 MHz network processor (NPU) with 128 MB of DDR2 memory. 

Of course, there is no shortage of technologies for gamer add-ons either: under the heading of “Game Networking DNA,” there are some services designed to speed up latency-sensitive network traffic. The first of these is the “Advanced Game Detect” feature, which prioritizes the game’s network traffic over other traffic. 

With the help of “Windows Network Stack Bypass”, the data received from the server is added to the game before all other network cards. And with “Visual Bandwith Control,” we can configure our Internet connection in such a way that our “ping” is not compromised, for example, by downloading at a lower priority.

The product will be available worldwide within a month, at a price of $ 129 in the gamer's "category", which corresponds to approximately HUF 30.
