This year, too, came the moment when the contestants could stand on the podium, shake hands with the jury and say: yes, I was here, it was beautiful, it was exciting, I will be back next year.
There’s no more pleasant feeling — perhaps comparable to catharsis — when a person is already completely put off from achieving even a tiny result, and yet at the announcement of the result, his name is uttered and he can perform on the podium. At such times, you may not even believe you could have won, maybe even when you receive the prize, and only hours later if you have already processed it all. I won't even explain how it feels, because whoever has experienced it, he knows who hasn't, will only realize it when he's a part of it. This year, some modders might have felt that way when Edu read his name at the mod-tech HALL awards ceremony, it was enough to quote Mr. Gt — Gergely Garab — “pinch it, I can’t believe it, did I really get it?”.
