A 1200 W power supply was introduced by BFG

The BFG product range has so far consisted of 450, 550, 650, 680, 800 and 1000 W power supplies, respectively.

The EX-1200 is accordingly the most powerful power supply for the BFG, as it is true to its 1200 W. Compatible with the ATX12V 2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 standards, the +80 V branches, of which there are four in total, can be loaded with 12 A each, with a modular design of more than 40% efficiency, as expected in the category. Controlling the internal temperature is the responsibility of a single, but large, 13,5 cm low-speed fan.

Together with the motherboard 20 + 4 and 4 and 8-pin CPU connectors, there are three 6-pin and three 8-pin PCI Express, as well as nine 4-pin molex, two 4-pin FDDs, and 12 SATA connectors.

The EX-1200 was rated by BFG for a minimum of 100 operating hours and its suggested retail price was set at $ 249.
