Opera and Google have a 1-month contract

The search giant probably opted for a short extension because of Opera’s uncertain vision.

In November 2009, it was reported by the Hungarian browser page of the Norwegian browser, according to which the two companies decided to extend their existing and mutually fruitful relationship. Of course, this is the default search engine, which under the agreement will remain part of Opera's user interface until March 2012, 31. This contract expired yesterday, but a new agreement has been reached since then. That means Google will definitely remain Opera’s default search engine until the end of the month.

At first glance, but even at second glance, the 1-month extension seems very strange, in any case somewhat confirming the previous rumors, according to which Facebook will acquire Opera Software. The atmosphere between the two giants is far from undisturbed these days, so Google is probably no longer looking to financially support the company after a possible acquisition.
