The GIGABYTE card is different from AMD's reference solution. It got its own printed circuit board with GIGABYTE Ultra Durable VGA components that we already know well. The PCB is 28,5 cm long, 12,6 cm wide and 3,8 cm thick together with the cooling, which is a very serious piece at first glance. The rib system practically consists of three blocks. The main unit extends above the GPU, while the other two extend toward the edges of the PCB. These are woven through thick (8 mm) copper heat pipes, further aiding heat dissipation.

The removal of hot air is not less than three pieces PWM controlled performed by fans who can perform their task in pleasant silence. It’s practically a Windforce 3X so far, but the thing has been supplemented with a solution called Triangle Cool, which is a special heat-dissipating interface we try to help you understand with pictures and video. This, combined with the anti-turbulence structure (airflow through the ribs does not cause turbulence and thus pass through with less noise) results in even better efficiency and even quieter operation compared to the traditional WindForce 3X solution.

The card's power connectors are located in the upper right corner, two 6-pin interfaces through which the VGA can absorb 150 watts, allowing a total of 3.0 watts of room for maneuver, complete with 75 watts available via the PCI Express 225 bus. The two CrossFireX bridges are also in place, so up to four of the Radeon HD 7950 can also be connected. The BIOS toggle microswitch is also available here, and we can repeat what the HD 7970 said about the output range.

Efrom now on, only one DVI is available, next to which is a native HDMI 1.4a, which is special in that it operates at 3 GHz, so it also supports 4096 × 2160 pixel resolution displays, and is able to transmit FULL HD stereo 3D material at 60 frames. We get two more miniDisplay ports with a 1.2 standard that also knows the latest technologies, Eyefinity has moved to version 2.0, where each display can receive a separate 8-channel sound.

GIGABYTE has also changed the clock speed, raising the GPU's 800 MHz base frequency to 900 MHz, leaving the RAM clock intact. The nice-looking box included the usual things, in addition to the installation disc and user manual, we get a CrossFireX bridge and two molex-> PCI Express power adapters.
