Price reduction plans around Intel's house
Life is happening at Intel.
The VR-Zone table provides very important information about Intel desktop processors:
- Penryn invasion begins on January 20: Core 2 Extreme QX9770, Core 2 Quad Q9550, Q9450 and Q9300, Core 2 Duo E8500, E8400, E8200 and E8190, Celeron Dual-Core E1200
- Customers can get cheaper Pentium Dual-Core E20 and E2180 and Celeron 2160 processors from January 440
- Core 2 Duo E2 and Pentium Dual-Core E4700 debut on March 2220
- the Core 771 Extreme QX2 can be inserted into the LGA9775 socket typical of server motherboards
- From April 20, the Core 2 Quad Q6700 and Q6600, Core 2 Duo E4600, Pentium Dual-Core E2200 and E2180, and Celeron 440 and 430 will also be available at a lower price.
- Sales of the Core 20 Duo E2 will begin on April 8300th
- Core 2 Duo E7200 and Celeron Dual-Core E1400 processors expand in second quarter
