Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2 - we tested it and decided to live with us from now on!

There are times when one requires all sorts of gadgets, or to stay with a gadget by the name of the site. For example, I have long wanted a small, inexpensive, but preferably flashy Bluetooth speaker. It is no accident that the choice fell on Xiaomi's product.

I don’t know how bland my readers are with him, but I like to try all sorts of interesting things, mostly ones that work with electricity. Many times, giving in to my curiosity, I order something, and then I pass it on for HUF right away, of course, only after I have tried it. So in most cases, I don’t have to worry about something not coming in and staying on my neck. So I sell a lot of things after 1-2 weeks, but the Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2 stayed with me, still squatting at me from the shelf above my monitors, as if to say, well, come on, let's go out into the garden under the tree for a while, take a nap I and until then, I will softly hum some music into your ears!

Unfortunately, I can’t always let such sirens sound, now for example I have to write this article first!

The speaker came in a medium-sized carton. Not because it would be so big, in fact, when I fished out the white box from the other gadgets, I was amazed at what this tiny but difficult thing compared to its size was. I owe so much confession that when I ordered one thing I didn’t just look at how big that thing is. I saw in the pictures that it was black, that the little blue LED was discreetly lit on it, that I was looking from any direction to see an elegant, showy, yet still just a simple cylinder. I saw in it the Bluetooth speaker I was looking for.

I tore off the cellophane, lifted the lid of the box, and there he was. There was nothing besides it, just an instruction manual in ornate Chinese. from the text I recognized the usual snowman, chair, Christmas tree motifs, but that didn’t help my understanding much. Well, don't panic, I've seen a more complicated structure, I'll do well with that!

Picking the speaker out of the box, the first that pierced my eyes was a rubber ring close to the top. It ran around the small speaker. The fact that it runs around at the top has been figured out, with a rubber sheet on one side of the cylinder and a recess at the other end, filled with a sponge-like thing at first. It was suspicious that the music was coming from here, so this will be the top.

I also soon realized that the part above the rubber ring could be rotated relative to the lower half. I also shot a thousand, waiting for the little click to turn on, but nothing. Endless rotation without clicking.

I must be getting older or have some other mental problem, but it took 3-4 minutes for me to realize I could remove the rubber ring, it wouldn’t ruin the speaker, and even if I took it off I can turn it on! This is because the ring only serves to prevent the upper part from being accidentally depressed and the structure switched on. Because that's the way to turn it on. And the rotation, you never thought, is used to adjust the volume. It's scary where science is going!

All right, let's not joke! So the treatment is simple. When you remove the ring, press and hold the top to turn on the speaker. Then search for the device with Bluetooth turned on in your phone. We are looking for someone whose name we do not understand because we only see a set of Chinese characters. You don't need a PIN or anything. When the device is plugged in, a pleasant-sounding, probably Chinese lady says something through the speaker, but what, of course, we don’t understand. You must be notified that the connection has been established. Speaking of Chinese, it’s good to know that Xiaomi really makes really good stuff, but in many cases, it specifically wears off that no one in the negligibly small hidden corners of the world speaks Chinese. Anyway, the point is that the device connects like a speakerphone and the music is now from the speaker! There is another option, this pause, which means that if you do not hold down the top part for a long time and press it for a moment, the music will stop, only the blue LED will indicate that the speaker is working. The mjuzik continues under another short pressure.

We have come to the most important question, how about? I’ll be honest, when I saw what I ordered I said to myself, you’ve been a good big stupid again, this little crap is going to be completely useless. Well, I couldn't have been bigger than that!

After turning it on, I started the music and froze from the sound that came out of the box! First, it does not distort. I would say your voice is crystal clear, but I would leave that rating to my one and a half meter high speakers. So little Xiaomi sounds very nice and clean, and what’s interesting is that they were also given volume properly. Of course, it doesn't break your head, the bass doesn't pound in your lungs.

Even if the bass isn’t even bust-cut, it’s definitely that hell they were able to pack such dynamics into this tiny box. The treble is chirping nicely, the middle is clear and strong, but it doesn't settle on either high or deep, and the bass, well let's just say there's a surprising amount of it, I feel a bit like there's a SUB tube somewhere in the box . So, all in all, this tiny, nothing-saying little cylinder is all about wondering at the state I’m still looking for.

Because of the former, you already know why what I considered impossible after unpacking happened, that I didn’t sell this little bug. The reason is simple, BECAUSE BITANG IS GOOD!

Now I notice I talked a lot about the Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2, but I didn’t write anything about its size, specification, or price. So now let's make up for that too!

In this 6 x 6 x 9,33 centimeter and 26 deck engine, we would find two speakers if we disassembled. according to factory data, the impedance is 4 ohms, the output power is 5 watts, and the frequency transmission ranges from 20 Hz to 20 KHz. The speaker has a 1200 mAh battery, which can be recharged in three hours and can be used to play music for 7 hours. I think this uptime is more than enough!

And then the end of the price! The Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2 costs $ 24, which is roughly HUF 6300, delivery is free, which means that neither customs nor VAT has to be paid for this stuff, because the amount remains below the customs limit.

You can find the factory pictures and data, as well as the purchase option here: Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2

I rarely write this in an article, but now I do, this Xiaomi speaker falls into the highly recommended category for me, so I almost guarantee that if you order it you won’t be disappointed in it!
