The crisis is "favorable" for webshops
After the crisis of 2008, customers turned to webshops because of their perceived or real cheapness, currently the number of such stores with a Hungarian-language website is 5-6 thousand, said Madar Norbert, consultant of eNET Kft., Which deals with research and consulting.
According to the consultant, important information is how many website visitors will become customers. It depends on how much traffic your website has. For example, in webshops with an annual turnover of less than HUF 5 million, every hundredth visitor will also be a customer. In stores with a turnover of over HUF 50 million, more than two customers already have 100 visitors. Webshops attract customers with a variety of marketing tools, the best of which are considered to be search engine optimization (appearing on the first page of the search engine). In second place are price comparison pages, followed by paid ads and newsletters. [MTI]
