Sharp’s latest 3D LED television could be the jewel of the living room
Sharp introduces its new flagship model, its 80-inch LED-backlit LCD TV, the Sharp AQUOS Quattron 3D LC-80LE857E.
Of particular interest is the so-called Wallpaper function, which allows us to display still images on a television screen. Thus, the switched off device is not only a black spot on the wall, but also displays the images we have selected, be they graphics, photographs or even reproductions of our favorite works of art. However, this is not a classic slide show mode, as the brightness of the image is almost the same as the brightness of the original paintings. In Wallpaper mode, the device consumes only 30-40 W - the same energy as a smaller light bulb, and the brightness is only 30 cd. Such a subtly presented image can be an excellent complementary decoration in any interior. [Sharp]
