Nintendo has announced a "lite" version of their DS console.

The Nintendo DS, although it has lost its battle against the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) for now, is gaining new strength (?), Thanks to the DS Lite. The new device is 1/3 smaller and 20% lighter than its predecessor, namely 133 × 73,9 × 21,5 mm and 218 grams, respectively. The DS Lite will be released in Japan on March 2, at 16 yen, or approx. At a price of HUF 800.
