Zeblaze Vibe 3 - quality at an affordable price!

Practically at the same time, we selected two similar products independently, which, moreover, play in roughly one league in terms of goods - at least during the promotional period. My choice fell on the Zeblaze Vibe 3, and the other contestant was the one already shown SMA09 volt. Decide which of us chose the smartwatch better. 

It would be very difficult to decide which watch looks better. I think both will get fans for different reasons; the Vibe 3 has a sportier yet less futuristic look. To open the rugged housing, the Zeblaze also included two screwdrivers. Can you rightly ask what it takes to gut the stuff?

… But what drives it?

The answer is also the main specialty / strength of the watch, as Vibe has 3 batteries. Thanks to the latter, it will never see a USB cable or run out at the worst moment. How long do you drag with the battery? If you don't get the cheapest energy source available from a polar convenience store, Zeblaze says you can count on it:

• 14 months of intensive use (BT connection 12 hours / day, wake-up, lighting, reminder 40 times a day)
• 22 months with average skinning (BT connection 2 hours / day, wake-up, lighting, reminder 10 times a day)
• 33 months in economy mode (BT connection only once a week, reminder off, alarm and lighting)

Now let's see how we can immerse that element, that is, what this miracle can be used for:

• Stopwatch function
• Display date and time
• Pedometer, distance traveled and measurement of calories burned
• Notifications (SMS, QQ, WeChat, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Skype, incoming call, email)
• Remote camera function

It would be a shame to deny Vibe 3 won’t get an innovation award with this list - it’s worth keeping in mind what number we see on the price tag.

Use

After switching on (a combination of S2 and S3), the device immediately starts searching for a faithful partner, which it attempts via Bluetooth. The clock can be used without it, of course the notifications will obviously fail. Don’t dot the exact time and date much because the watch is able to download this information from your phone through the app! The program called Sports + also extends the number of alarms, using three times instead of one.

According to the manufacturer, the glass sheet is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. 

The smartwatch can store data for three weeks, so it’s no problem to sync with your wireless connection only occasionally. The visibility of the FSTN display is great, the backlight could be a little brighter (5 lumens brightness), but it can still be used (well). Funny for the latter, the included manual specifically notes that the energy-saving end is only used in low light conditions - so this presumably sucks the battery massively. The savvy is otherwise absolutely user-friendly, richly illustrated and logically edited. I emphasize this because I think Vibe 3 will often cost owners who have it for the first time of their kind - for them, it’s not very incidental to what the included guide is like.

Protected against dust penetration, it can also be slightly floated (IP67).

Stopper

1. Press the S2 key six times to enter the stopwatch function.
2. S3 is the start / pause, S4 is the reset.
3. The S2 key is the exit, otherwise the stopwatch will run in the background.

Real-time sports data

1. Press S2 to enter the menu: number of steps (two presses), energy used (three), distance traveled (four).

Alarm clock

1. Press the S2 key five times.
2. Press and hold the S4 button for 3 seconds.
3. Use S4 to select the hour and minute, S3 to enter the value.
4. Press S2 to confirm the settings.

I gave this little taste to pretty much see what scheme the clock can be configured for. I don't think we need a diploma, we don't have to worry about it, it is recommended for beginners.

Sports +

Vibe 3 uses 24-hour pedometer, 10 target step counts by default, and you can change the latter in the downloadable app. You need at least Android 000 to install the app, even iOS 4.3 (iPhone 7.0S) on the apple side is the minimum. Sports + gives you the opportunity to share your results with your friends; numerous studies have shown that group dieting / exercising is much more effective than lonely trying.

The utility is not overly complicated, in return it is easy to review and minimally customizable: you can bring down a profile and change the wallpaper. In the app, you can see the distance traveled on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, upload instant data to the cloud, share (WeChat, Facebook, Twitter), set alarms and reminders, use the camera, or perform device management - just one device connected to the app .

Conclusion

I had a definite picture of Zeblaze Vibe 3 in me. This is an entry-level model, in my opinion, may be primarily relevant to those who are buying such a smart gadget for the first time, or want a secondary model that they dare to take to the field with ease. I feel like this stuff is the birth of a good thought, a good concept. The Zeblaze didn't want to grab too much, but he didn't go down to the dog either. By this I mean that Vibe 3 has targeted a practical minimum level that is sure to still help and not complicate our lives. Fortunately, in terms of price, they weren’t driven by radical cost-cutting, so the watch brings quality stably: splash-proof, the case is decent quality (stainless steel), the buttons and paint are good, I couldn’t really even hook it up to the strap. Unusually, I’m doing an insertion here to get an accurate idea of ​​what the previous lines mean.

DLC (Diamond-like carbon) is a synthetic diamond-like material that provides amazing surface hardness, making it almost impossible to scratch. It is usually used in special applications where a high level of surface hardness is required. This is complemented by the fourth-generation tempered glass sheet already mentioned above, so the durability is better than average.

Let's turn back to the evaluation. We were there to draw attention to yourself with the simplicity of the clock; here we don’t have to fluff with the charge, the CR2450 battery has solved the thing for years. Vibe 3 doesn’t want to be more than it is, but it performs reliably at its level. We don’t have to worry about it falling apart, draining right away, or getting soaked as soon as you get two drops of water. Obviously, you could still carve a few thousand if you relaxed the quality - the knowledge in terms of services would be pretty much the same - but that other model would probably be of lower quality than this. I would also be upset that in penny smart watches, the battery will soon start to decline, obviously you won’t replace it, the Vibe 3, on the other hand, will be on top again with a battery change! So the stuff provides a very pleasant entry into the world of smartwatches, easy to use, cheap, but I wouldn’t call it a drop at all. In fact!
