Introductory
The bigger part of smart toothbrushes is worth nothing. Not like a toothbrush because they’re good for brushing your teeth, but the smart features are completely pointless.
Does the app warn you when you need to replace your head? Why, I see it for myself! Are you talking about stopping brushing sooner than optimal? I don't care how long I want to brush my teeth! Do you give a score for brushing your teeth? On what basis when no orphan sensor is in the toothbrush?
So smart toothbrushes don’t usually work, in fact, I feel totally unnecessary about cleverness. I usually say…
I’ve been eyeing the Oclean X Pro for a while now because that toothbrush doesn’t know much. To say the least, it has its own operating system, AMOLED display with touch sensitivity, gyroscope and pressure sensor to make brushing really appreciable. And these are just the more interesting things, because there are a lot of programs, a ton of adjustable strength, and I could go on and on.
The thing is, now I know for sure I’m not going to buy an Oclean X Pro. I bought his successor, the Oclean X Pro Elite, which knows everything like his little brother, and of course they put on a bunch of other abilities to make something really Elite!
Packaging, accessories
We get a size box, at least compared to a toothbrush. I have to, because in addition to the brush, we also have a magnetic wall mount and a wireless charger in it, I’ll write about these below because they are interesting pieces.
We can't find anything other than a toothbrush, just a description, it's long, if you read this article, chances are you won't need it. Unfortunately, there is no spare head, we have to take care of it ourselves later.
External
The Oclean X Pro Elite suggests elite, or so to speak, top quality for other catches. The plastic cladding has a stone effect, the color is also given as limestone gray.
Control is via the display and the button below. The display is large, the display panel is AMOLED, which results in very nice colors, not incidentally, even in brighter light.
We can't find any traces of charging connectors or contacts, because this toothbrush really charges wirelessly. Obviously the charger needs a USB, but approx. that's all.
The head can be replaced in the usual way, but that may not surprise anyone anymore.
Overall, the outer star deserves a high five, catch, sight, in every way it looks like we bought a top class toothbrush!
Knowledge, that is, the paper form
The Oclean X Pro Elite not only continues the tradition of the Oclean X Pro introduced last year on its behalf, the two devices are also very similar in their capabilities. That is, more specifically, Elite can be considered an enhanced version of X Pro.
You got wireless charging, for example, which is just like on phones. In fact, the charger is just like the flat discs that come with phones, only slightly smaller, and has a silicone top that holds the toothbrush. I tried it, my desktop cordless phone charger also charges. It doesn't make sense, but it's interesting.
Importantly, the brush has become much quieter, and that’s not an empty marketing promise. It got quieter than the X Pro, and quieter than anything I’ve ever had with an electric toothbrush. According to factory data, the noise remains below 45 dB even at the highest intensity, which is nothing. Mainly because of the strength, but about that in the next chapter…
The battery is also large. The capacity here is not so significant here (800 mAh anyway), it is much more that after 3,5 hours of charging, assuming two brushing teeth a day, we get 35 days of battery life. So we can take it with us even on vacation, we don't have to bother with the embankment.
The existence of our own operating system, Oclean OS, is also basic here, and of course little has been developed on this. One of the best abilities of its predecessor was to filter out blind spots while brushing teeth. In practice, this meant that in the telephone application, after brushing our teeth, we could see which areas of our dentures had a weaker intensity of brushing and which areas were completely left out.
Of course, our brushing was also scored by the app, and if we paid attention, it nicely “taught” us to brush our teeth by rubbing all areas of our dentures nicely.
Well, of course, these abilities have been retained in the offspring, and the useful ability has been retained, so that we can now see not only on our phone, but also on the toothbrush display, if a part of the wash has been missed, so we can fix the problem immediately.
Another novelty is the automatic alarm clock. The toothbrush detects that when you lift or remove it from the wall bracket, it turns on automatically, we just have to start the selected program.
One more thing at the end of the wall bracket. This is one of the best inventions with this brush. Instead of the usual snap-in, we get a magnetic holder that confidently holds our toothbrush on the wall.
Taking it off, putting it back is absolutely hassle-free, I tried to see how much chance it was to fall off or put it back wrong, but essentially nothing. Definitely cuppan in place, but of course only so much that as long as we want to take it off, we don’t tear the tile off the wall either.
Use and experience
Let's start with the installation!
Yes, our toothbrush is smart, so it comes with a phone app that needs to be installed. The process is extremely simple:
- Add the new device, the activated toothbrush is automatically detected and recognized by the software via Bluetooth connection
- We give our date of birth and gender
- We choose what our dentures are, normal, smoky, orthodontic, distorted
- We choose whether there is anything that can discolor our teeth, smoking, tea, wine, coffee
- We choose the current color of our tooth
- We are ready!

It wasn’t a big deal, but the toothbrush needs this data to set up a custom brushing program.
When we are done running the program. You can check, change your settings, update your toothbrush operating system, and if you’re already using the brush, you can check the quality of your brushing with calendar spots and scores, broken down by calendar days.

Speaking of blind spots, it’s worth knowing that X Pro Elite distinguishes 8 zones, so you can’t tell if e.g. you didn't wash the right back six grinder.

The eight zones are right and left, bottom and top, outside and inside. We see these within the app per toothbrush, but as I wrote above, we also see them on the display.
Let's see the use!
Let’s start there so that we can adjust essentially everything through the touch screen. We get four brushing modes, these are sensitive, massage, normal washing and whitening.
32 strength modes are mentioned in the factory description, I have concluded from this that 4 x 32 modes are available, but this is not true. We get 32 strength levels for normal brushing, but only four for whitening, for example, and only three for gentle brushing.
In addition to the brushing method and strength, you can also set the brushing time.
It is usually said that a thorough brushing takes two minutes. This is also the case with most electric toothbrushes, and most of us get a warning while brushing our teeth that we may start washing another zone.
In practice, this works by getting 15 seconds per zone for eight zones.
In the case of the Oclean X Pro Elite, brushing your teeth can be different from the usual two minutes, mostly upwards. In the case of colored teeth, in the case of coffee or wine consumption, and in the case of smoking, the program recommends more intensive, prolonged washing. Of course, even in such cases, we get a warning (the vibration changes) that we can go from one zone to another.
When you have finished brushing your teeth, the tooth map will appear on the display and you can see our score for brushing in addition to the zones.
This score, of course, takes into account the blind spots, i.e., how thoroughly we brushed our teeth, but also whether we pressed the toothbrush on the tooth with sufficient force and whether the time spent brushing was of the right length.
Let’s stop here for a bit too, because I think we’re discussing one of the essential capabilities of the Oclean X Pro Elite, which is worth a few more words!
So, the cheaper smart toothbrushes (they’re not that cheap at home) all give a score for brushing your teeth, but what we get based on that score is obscured by obscurity.
In fact, the thing is completely incomprehensible, because there are no sensors in these toothbrushes that could detect movement, pressure, so I have no idea what they are evaluating. However, the Oclean X Pro Elite is completely gone.
The built-in six-axis gyroscope and pressure sensor provide real data. It is able to calculate a realistic evaluation and score from the position and movement of the toothbrush and the pressure on our teeth. Added to that is a dental map showing blind spots, and we can see that X Pro Elite specifically teaches us to brush our teeth. It teaches you the right posture, the right schedule of brushing time, so everything to make the cleaning really effective!
Practical experience may follow!
As we have seen so far, the toothbrush has a complex structure but is easy to use. It's easy to choose your programs, your strength, and everything else. The display is perfect, clearly visible, although I already need glasses for the dental map to be able to evaluate the result.
To make the setting, scroll up and down on the display, the selection is made with the physical key, in which case a green check mark on the display indicates that the setting was successful.
This dental map will automatically appear on the display after brushing anyway, but if it is not interpreted, you can cheat again by holding down the physical button.
As I wrote above, the toothbrush has been quieter than any brush I’ve ever had. What’s good is that this is true not only for the lowest, but also for the highest strength.
Anyway, the sonic name for these toothbrushes refers precisely to the noise generated. Due to the high vibration speed (which kicks in multiples of the rotary head brushes), we hear this sound, which can be annoying with some brushes, especially at high engine speeds.
What are the strengths to choose from?
It is no coincidence that in the case of gentle brushing we can only go up to three degrees. With traditional brushing, the effect is something I will have a hard time passing. So it won’t knock our teeth out, but we’ll get a vibration of the same intensity that even me, a user who has been using a sonic toothbrush for years, has to get used to.
If it doesn't clean, it's nothing!
Summary
The most important thing I need to mention is that the Oclean X Pro Elite promises what it promises. Really quiet, really thorough, and really smart too!
And this cleverness is not self-serving, it is not to dazzle us to make the specification table as long as possible. Here the smart function makes sense, even to TEACH US THE RIGHT TOOTH! Neither more nor less.
Of course, it is a good thing to be able to choose from a variety of tooth-colored drinks, to be able to specify what our dentures are and to use the programs that develop in this way, but the point is that I still think we can learn to brush my teeth properly.
I think it’s very important that you don’t need your phone to use the Oclean X Elite Pro smartly. Of course you will need to set it up, but then if you don't want to, you don't have to look any further. And why is that good?
Because I found one of the biggest stupidities of smart toothbrushes to have to keep looking at our phone after brushing our teeth. It might just be a problem for me, and there are those who are eagerly looking at things about the toothbrush on their phones, I don’t.
It happened to pretty much all of these brushes that I put on the program and looked at it after the first brushing, then never again. I want to brush my teeth, thoroughly, properly, not squeezing my phone. Pointless nonsense.
In the case of the Oclean X Pro Elite, this is not necessary, as not only can we change the settings via the display, but we can also see the dental map and score. Well, that makes sense!
So, and finally. The Oclean X Pro Elite has become an incredibly good toothbrush. Its prices are high by Chinese standards, but only compared to it, because it is enough to look at how much a top toothbrush costs at home.
Oral-B iO Series 9N - 102 thousand forints, 8N - 78 thousand forints, Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart HX9901 - 70 thousand forints and I could continue the line. On top of that, these toothbrushes don’t even know as much as the Oclean X Pro Elite.
Now you must be wondering how much to pay for the Elite version. Well not a little, but still not such a brainless amount as for the machines listed.
