The long-awaited special tablets are finally shrouded, we’ll also get an IdeaPad and ThinkPad running Android, while Windows 7 is running on the third machine.
The IdeaPad Tablet K1 measures 264 × 13,3 × 189 mm and weighs 750 grams. The 10,1-inch capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 × 800, and with a Tegra 2 dual-core chip, 1GB of DDR2-600 RAM is responsible for speed, and we can save our data to the 16/32/64GB flash storage. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. The usual accessories Lenovo has not forgotten either, we get a micro SD slot, a light sensor, an 802.11 b / g / n WiFi module, Bluetooth, micro HDMI output and 3G as an option. The 2-cell battery can run a machine running Android 10 for up to 3.1 hours. The WiFi-enabled K1 will arrive in August, and the 16-gig model will cost $ 399.
The much more business-looking ThinkPad Tablet will also be released this month. In many ways, it is similar to its brother intended for average use, but here the touch-sensitive display has an IPS panel (178 degree viewing angle) and Gorilla Glass protection. The control can even be done with a pen, and GPS, a full-size USB 2.0 port and an SD card reader are also part of the equipment. The battery lasts only 8,7 hours on a single charge according to the factory data, but the tool has a slimmer body, only 14 millimeters "thick". It wouldn't be a real business machine if it couldn't be charged with a docking station, which has USB ports and audio connectors, so you can easily hold a presentation. The starting price of the ThinkPad Tablet is $499, also for the 16 gigabyte version, but if you also want a digitizing pen, then we are "forced" to leave $529 in stores.
A little later, in the fourth quarter, the IdeaPad Tablet P7 running Windows 1 will arrive, featuring a 1,5GHz Intel processor (probably the Atom Z670), up to 2GB of DDR2-800 RAM, and a 32/64GB SSD. The 10,1-inch machine with a touch screen resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels measures 279 × 14,5 × 184 millimeters and weighs 810 grams. You can also find 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD card reader, but we get two 1,5 Watt speakers, a USB 2.0 port, while the webcam is only 0,3 megapixels. The 2-cell battery is aspirated in 6 hours by Microsoft's operating system. We don't have information about its price yet.
