The Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro promises a suction power of 30 kPa, but the price shows otherwise.

Introductory
Someday I will count how many types of upright vacuum cleaners I have tried. It's certainly not a little. In recent years, these machines have become smaller, lighter, more powerful and, last but not least, cheaper.
However, cheapness is not a gift, so something must be given in return, and that something is quality. Manufacturers are constantly balancing on a very narrow, common boundary between still acceptable quality and still acceptable price. Some people catch the streak better, others reach very close to it.
In the case of the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro featured in today's article, now that I am writing the introduction of the article, I still have doubts that they are on the good side of the horse.
Just so you understand, I usually prepare these articles and tests in such a way that the text is prepared in 2-3-4 parts. For example, I write introductions and specifications even before the test, but mostly after unpacking the product, so the first impression is already there. This impression is quite mixed at the moment.
No matter, then the unpacking, the exterior, the specification, and finally the experiences. Let's hit it!
Unpacking, exterior
There is something quite morbid about the small box they can pack an upright vacuum cleaner into. I note that I don't miss the big box, in fact, I support that there should be little cardboard, and that the inside should also have impact protection made of cardboard, not oil derivatives. Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro deserves five in this respect. I don't care if it was done to save money, if the end result is less plastic waste!
However, there are some nylon bags inside, but it's not dangerous.
The first thing I get my hands on is the long suction pipe, and it's such a well thought out piece. At first glance, it is a strong metal tube, in a great green color, with strong mechanics, firm snap-in tabs and large contacts on both the motorized suction head and the side of the machine. If you have to start unpacking somewhere, this should really be the first point, because it predicts that the whole machine will be so frank.
However, appearances are deceiving. The situation is that neither the pipe nor the part belonging to the ratchet mechanism is plastic, but metal. Anyway, as plastic, it doesn't seem to be of poor quality. I would like to add that it almost doesn't matter what the ratchet is, because we usually pull it out once when unpacking, and from then on we use the tube in the pulled state.
For the second time, I unpack the motorized head, which is no longer of high quality, but rather not... Ok, no terribly bad details, it just feels as a whole that the saving has gone beyond what I can accept. There is a simple but good-looking brush in the head, but e.g. anti-tangle nothing. Not even an unfortunate plastic comb on the inside of the head to take out the coiled strands.
At the same time, the LED on the front of the head and the tab that attaches to the extension tube are positive, which help detect dirt on the floor during vacuuming.
As an accessory, we also get a vacuum cleaner and a combined head, with which we can vacuum the dirt from shelves, shutters, or possibly upholstered furniture. The quality of these is also reminiscent of the motorcycle head, they are hard, rigid plastics, but the fixing tab looks good here too.
Among the little things, we find another wall mount, we have another charger, and that's it.
It is interesting that the motor part is not in one but two pieces in the box. The part containing the battery and the control elements is separate, and the motor part is separate. This motorized part can also be separated into two parts. The motor is on top, the dust container with the filter is on the bottom.
A serious negative is that the battery is built into the machine, we can only replace it by disassembling it. Compared to cheap machines, however, the fact that there is a stainless steel filter in the dust tank is an advantage. Another negative is that the HEPA filter is quite small, which also means that the air path is narrower than average. We will see what effect this will have on the suction strength.
Another cost-saving solution is the back panel display, which is not specifically there. The speed of the motor can be changed in only two steps, we have two buttons, with one we can turn the machine on and off, with the other we can switch between the steps.
The specification can come, it won't be long!
Paper form
The manufacturer considers the suction force of 30 kPa, the powerful carbon brushless motor and the low weight of the machine to be the highlights. This is approx. that's right too.
The motor is small, brushless, 250 watts, and according to the manufacturer's data, its suction power is 30 Pa. Quite a large suction power compared to the not very powerful performance. According to the manufacturer, the 000-cell battery pack enables 6-35 minutes of cleaning on the smaller and 45-15 minutes on the stronger level.
Although the manufacturer brags about the low weight, it does not state exactly how much it is, so I had to measure it myself. The machine weighs 2045 grams with suction pipe and motor head. This is really very good, because the head rests on the ground, holds the suction pipe and partly the machine, so we really don't have to deal with wrist-breaking weight.
I would like to note that the small motor and the small battery are of great help in order to achieve the low weight, but for this, once again, the quality, i.e. the battery operating time, must be sacrificed.
What else? Well nothing. The usual things, such as the fact that the machine filters out 99,97 percent of the incoming dirt, and so on. So I wrote the gist, we can continue!
The test
I won't surprise you, I don't tend to overdo these tests. I vacuum flour to see what happens to the very fine dust, I vacuum rice, which is a good substitute for larger dirt, e.g. it vacuums mud and soup pearls, which is meant to simulate 8-millimeter-1-centimeter dirt.
Well, the flour and rice test was absolutely fine. However, the soup pearl caught on the machine. The head is low, dirt of this size cannot fit under it during vacuuming.
To be honest, I wasn't completely satisfied with the suction power either. It's not bad, but it's almost certain that it's not 30-35 kPa, as the manufacturer promises. According to my experience, it can be somewhere around 25 kPa, which is still quite livable!
Another negative is that the LEDs on the front of the motor head of the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro are white, not green. But this is the minor problem, the major one is that there is not much brightness either.
On the positive side, the manufacturer provides a spare HEPA filter and also that this filter is washable. They say that if you wash it while it dries you can use the other one. It is fine.
However, it is no longer okay that the cyclone dirt-air separation is not very steely, and indeed a small part of the vacuumed flour landed in the HEPA filter, and a very, very, very small part passed through it as well. In other words, it is good that there is a spare filter, it is good that it can be washed, but it is bad that we will have to wash it regularly.
As I wrote, the motor head of the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro does not have anti-tangle, and the hair and fabric fibers are wound up by the brush of the motor head. And it really turns you on.
Let's sum it up
The Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro is presumably the manufacturer's premium product, as it is the strongest part of the range. This does not bode well for cheaper vacuum cleaners. The Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro is not a good vacuum cleaner. No, I'm not saying it's bad either, because it effectively absorbs dirt, dust, etc. smaller than half a centimeter, and the half-liter dust container can hold quite a lot of dirt. There's also one-button tank emptying, so those are good things.
My biggest problem with the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro is that it's set up like it's some really cheap yet cool machine, but it's not. It's cheap for cheap, but it's a long way from cool. Do you have Mako-Jerusalem?
When do you buy it?
If you need an easy, quick-to-use cheap upright vacuum cleaner that you want to use as a motorized broom to make your life easier. If you want to vacuum the kitchen after cooking, if you want to vacuum up the fallen crumbs around the dining table in seconds after lunch, if you want a quick cleaning in the hall because a little mud has fallen from your children's (or you's) shoes.
So you see, you want to do small cleanings comfortably, quickly and easily with it, and you don't want to leave a lot of money in the store for this knowledge. The Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro will be perfect for such a purpose!
When should you not buy it?
If you want to replace your traditional vacuum cleaner with a standing vacuum cleaner, if you want to do a big cleaning with a standing vacuum cleaner, if you want to vacuum the entire apartment in one go with a standing vacuum cleaner, then the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro will not be the machine for you. Save some more money and buy a better one. Don't believe the marketing gibberish, because this machine will be a big disappointment for such tasks.
Well, now let's really summarize!
So here is the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro, from which I was expecting a lot after picking up the metal-looking suction tube and especially after browsing the factory data. Instead, I got a building made of cheap materials, approx. the machine that provided the power of top vacuum cleaners three years ago. Knowing the price of the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro, this is not as bad as it sounds at first.
The machine really knows what to expect for this price. It sucks well, the quality of the accessories isn't bad either, you can vacuum with it. The only thing that really annoys me is that I expected something completely different than what I got, and I don't like being led on.
With that said, if you are the person described in the recommendation above and you want to use the Vactidy Blitz V9 Pro for what is described, feel free to buy it, I don't know any counter-arguments that would prevent you from doing so. Just don't read what the manufacturer has written before, and if you do, you'll love it!
If you buy it, you can now order it from a Polish warehouse, and the price is only 102 dollars, or ~37 forints. Use the 35VAZVBVGQ4M coupon code!
