New Hungarian product on the computer market!

Our readers may encounter our first interview below, so we can only hope that we will be able to pump the right amount of information through our pages. We indicate in advance that the quarreling during the interview is not justified by our indifference, but by our old acquaintance with the developer. After all this introduction, there is nothing left but to cut into the letcho, that is, into the flood of questions.

HOC: Our readers must be curious about who you are and what your relationship has been with computing so far.

PETER: I have been dealing with computer technology for almost 10 years, including cooling and houses.

Anno we opened with an “average” on-line computer shop. If you remember those times, there was no noise level data next to a cooler in the price lists at the time, in fact, it was the coolest cooler with a high RPM number. The Globalwin brand may still live on in many people. 🙂 At the time, a 6-7cm fan cooler was spinning a 6800 and it was proudly undertaken! The more it spun, the more cool it must be. That was the attitude. Of course, many were still disturbed by the unbearable noise. With today’s head - or rather ears - these values may seem unbelievable. One or two companies realized that this was not a solution, they dropped the noise with clever ideas. That's when I became interested in the thing. That was the turn when I got on the cooling, houses.

HOC: They say you’re not a beginner on the subject, and as far as I know, your creativity isn’t just about designing hardware. Let's relax a bit, tell us about the music! 😉

PETER: Yes, I am interested in many things, such as music. I started on C64, it was rudimentary, but it tied me up for months. At the beginning of the PC era I didn't have the opportunity to play music, it ran on a motherboard speaker, which was a bit little :) Then the TestDrive series went :)

Beastie Boys is a big favorite, I found a mix collecting page where DJs can put their music out. I wrote them a letter saying I wasn’t a DJ, but I would attach a “demo,” they liked it, they asked for 2 more songs if I could do it, I could figure out some name for myself, and you could go, sign up. I'm out, you can listen, charge.

HOC: So we can say that you have no problems with creativity, but the question arises as to why you thought you were killing your skills in hardware development.

PETER: I am in daily contact with our manufacturers, not just the sales department. I didn't just like to trade. Buy, sell “impersonally”. I was interested in what I was selling, what I represented. On the one hand, it is also important from a business point of view, because if I have to convince a partner, what do I tell him? Cheap, nice box? I wanted to know the pros that can be polished and the disadvantages that need to be said more softly. 🙂 I could be a politician too! 🙂 On the other hand, curiosity. What is it that works, why is it better, why is it worse. I went to stores, bought the competition products, tested them, took them apart.

A little maybe cheeky, but I wrote the comments for a particular product to the manufacturer. Of course, be careful at first, as a company from such a small country should not bounce without reason, but they began to pay attention to my letters. I may have just had enough of sales for me, but I got in touch with the engineers, I play with them. 🙂 Years have passed, they have been accepted at shows as friends, they have shown prototypes, etc.

After so much experience and work, it was clear that we were trying to create something new in this area. This is the segment we encounter day in and day out in which we know and experience both negative and positive sides.
