Qualcomm is testing a new entry-level chipset

The chip, now known as QM215, will be the central chip for entry-level phones specifically running Android Go. According to current tips, the new unit will have four Cortex-A53 cores with a clock speed of 1,3 GHz. We don’t know much about the type of graphics accelerator integrated into the chip yet, we’re expected to get a piece working at 650 MHz, but which one we don’t know yet.

Snapdragon

Gsmarena says the SoC will have an architecture similar to the Snapdragon 410 and 425 inserts. We do not yet know whether the manufacturing technology, like older solutions, will be 28 nanometers or more modern. What is certain, however, is that the tests are already underway, the chip works in phones with 1-2 GB of LPDDR3 memory and 16-32 GB of storage. According to the news, Huawei is already sure to make a phone based on this unit, in this the display will be 720p, and based on the SoC, you can be sure that a fingerprint sensor will also be built into it.
