And in this news, we present 9600 GTs with slower memory inserts, conceived in the name of cheapness. The effective clock of GDDR3s sitting around dual-slot cooling is only 1400 MHz, compared to 1800 on the reference cards. It is also a poor output in terms of outputs, as only two DVIs rest on the metal plate.
MSI has made two versions of this 9600 GT: for the N9600GT-2D512, the GPU operates at a constant clock speed, and for the N9600GT-2D512-OC, it operates at 50 MHz higher (700).
