IKONIK intends Gaia power supplies in more solid configurations
The company’s Gaia product line has five members: PSUs range in power from 300 to 500 W.
IKONIK's product range has so far been enriched by several power supplies, but they are one of the most powerful: the most modest of the Vulcan family can handle 650 W, the intermediate units offer 850 W and 1000 W, respectively, and the top model 1200 W for high-power hardware. The company is aiming for more solid configurations with Gaia PSUs, with power scales from 300 to 500 W - on a 50-point scale.
In this power segment, we can sometimes find very low quality power supplies, but it would be an unforgivable sin to use this indicator on IKONIK products, as they are excellent devices made of the best possible components in all its flavors:
- the cutouts of the black aluminum housing are made with a diamond cutter,
- all capacitors are made in Japan and have a high conductivity,
- the 120 mm fan, backlit with blue backlight, is one of the quieter, with noise emissions below 20 dBA,
- the modular design removes most of the stocked cables,
- the efficiency of the power supplies - according to the 80 PLUS rating - is above 80% in all cases,
- active PFC.
Among the Gaia power supplies compliant with the ATX 12V V2.3 standard, the 300, 350 and 400 W 1 x 20 + 4 pin, 1 4 + 4 pin, 4 SATA, 4 PATA, 1 FDD and 1 PCIe 2.0 connectors, 450 and 500 W, SATA and an additional PCI Express cable.
