The renewed LG Magic Remote has literally come to the fore

Prior to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, LG Electronics (LG) announced the release of the enhanced Magic Remote motion sensor remote control from the CINEMA 3D Smart TV product line. The redesigned device has even more sophisticated voice control features that allow you to give instructions easily, naturally, and even during a conversation.

The new design also includes four control options - voice recognition, scrolling, motion detection and pointing - giving users a compact and universal remote control.

Thanks to the sophisticated voice control technology of the LG Magic Remote motion-sensing remote control, the television can be controlled easily and efficiently with voice commands. With the new Natural Language Recognition software, you can more easily give voice instructions with normal voice. You no longer need to pause between the command and the title, just say “Play the Gangnam Style video” of course and the new Magic Remote understands what we’re saying.

The new LG Magic Remote is the soul of home theater systems; a universal control solution that allows access to and control of a wide range of consumer electronics devices with maximum convenience. From Smart TVs to set-top boxes and sound projectors to blu-ray players in the living room, all devices can be efficiently controlled in one go with a single Magic Remote. Thanks to the pointing function, the LG Magic Remote naturally fits in your hand, making it great for motion-based video games. The scroll wheel makes it easy to scroll up and down on webpages, while zooming in and out is especially useful for apps like Google Maps. The Magic Remote is available in two versions: one is available from LG's premium CINEMA 3D Smart TVs and the other is available as an accessory for traditional CINEMA 3D Smart TV models. The premium Magic Remote buttons have LED backlighting, making them easy to use even in the dark, and the more compact design results in a lighter, more comfortable grip. The frequently used pushbuttons have been relocated, providing an even more natural and pleasant handling.
