Personnel changes and structural changes at Telenor

As of January 1, Sigvart Voss Eriksen, the former Deputy Chief Commercial Officer of Telenor Hungary, will continue his career at the Telenor Group's Thai subsidiary, Dtac, and with this change, Telenor's domestic sales organization will also operate in a new structure. From January, sales and marketing tasks will be performed by three organizational units: Customer Relations, Digital Services and Marketing. The latter is managed by Mike Michel, Deputy Chief Marketing Officer from the Telenor Group, while the other two divisions have already been headed by specialists strengthening the company, Zoltán Fejes and Zoltán Takács. The new structure indicates that Telenor will place even greater emphasis on better, more efficient customer service and the launch of new innovative services in the future.

The new head of the Marketing division, Mike Michel (43), has been with the Telenor Group for more than six years. He previously gained professional and managerial experience at several international mobile operators, then from 2006 he continued his career as Telenor Serbia’s Sales Director and from 2009 as Telenor Montenegro’s Deputy Chief Commercial Officer. From 2012, he held the position of Vice President of Brand Management. The Marketing Division, which will be formed under his leadership, will bring together the areas of the former Retail Marketing, Corporate Sales and Marketing, as well as the Marketing Communications Directorate and CRM Project Management.

Zoltan Fejes_Telenor

The new Customer Relations division includes the former Retail Sales and Customer Service Directorates. The division has been headed by Zoltán Fejes (39) as Deputy CEO since January. The specialist joined the company in November 2010 as Retail Sales Director, having previously gained more than 16 years of extensive professional experience in various management positions at other mobile operators. In recent years, Telenor has been responsible for the comprehensive transformation of its entire business network and the creation of more efficient customer service, among other things, and under its leadership, Telenor's market share has grown in almost all retail market segments.

Zoltan Takacs_Telenor

The newly created Digital Services Division is headed by Zoltán Takács (41), Deputy CEO. The specialist was headed by Telenor's Product and Innovation Directorate in 2011 and is associated with the introduction of several popular innovative services, including Deezer and Teletéka. He has previously gained international professional and managerial experience in commercial, product and service development and business development at companies such as Ericsson, Nokia, RTL Club and Huawei. In addition to the former Product and Innovation Directorate, the new division will bring together the Business Development, Value Added Services, Roaming and Partner Services divisions.
