One of the first models in the series will be the Pentium G2120, but then only in the final quarter.

Specifications show that the chip does not differ in many features from Sandy Bridge-based Pentium. The dual-core processor with a bandwidth of 22 nm will clock at 3,1 GHz. HyperThreading and Turbo Boost technology will not be found in this model, and the size of the third-level cache has been reduced to 3 MB. The presence of the SSE4.2 instruction set is commendable, but AVX (Advanced Vector Extension) is still lacking and there is no PCI-Express 3.0 support, although the lack of the latter is by no means a big cut. According to preliminary information, the so-called Ivy Bridge HD integrated graphics processor runs at 650 MHz, but the Turbo Boost can also raise this to 1050 MHz. Significant improvements have been made to the integrated memory controller, so we can use 1600 MHz DDR3 memories without any problems. The Intel Pentium G2120 is housed in the 65-watt TDP class. According to CPU-World, the processor may appear in the last quarter.
