Roswheel phone case - love for smartphone addicts!

It's summer, it's time to finally get out of the room - have you listened to this phrase a million times?

Roswheel phone case - love for smartphone addicts!

If I was allowed some background story: my suspicion that my colleague s3nki didn’t pick out this bike phone bag for me for no reason at all, I tend to succumb to the temptation of “just one more news, then I’m really going”. I have a well-founded suspicion that he has already provided many of the gadgets that can be clearly linked to some kind of sport. Approximately approx. as his third stop, he surprised me with this tattoo of the Roswheel, and if that’s how it happened, I don’t think you’re angry for a short presentation.

Let's start with the prices in a somewhat unusual way, because I admit, I was very curious how much my colleague intended for this souvenir - that is, actually for me! Browsing the domestic offer, a clear picture emerged, bags of similar size and design (eg Merida, BikeFun) cost at least 6 forints, but in more serious webshops you can easily leave 000-7 thousand forints for such an acquisition. Hmm, not bad, according to them, the boss has finally reached into his pocket… naive idea, because he gets something almost exclusively from Gearbest, and even at the current infamous exchange rate, the stuff cost barely 8 forints - so already the position of the maid is different! Well, the gift is a really noble gesture anyway, and then I would have saved in his place too… we just didn't accidentally end up in one place.

Now that you’re fully in the picture of your phone holder’s history, we can even get into the thick of things! The manufacturer sells the product in several different colors and sizes (4 and 4,2 inches, 4,2 and 4,8 inches, and 4,8 and 5,5 inches), so you have some variation - I'll show you more versions right away for you.

I took it out that the sizing guides are more of a recommendation, thankfully not a set of parameters at all. As you’ll see, I then placed a really really modest-sized phone (3,5 inches) in the bag, but I still didn’t experience any problems because the TPU screen protector layer was tight enough on the gadget. Now, you might think this is probably only because the device used for testing was a thicker specimen, so it filled the top compartment designed for it better. Of course, Roswheel thought of this, with a very practical velcro and rubber system, it solved the challenge of being able to use several devices of different thicknesses (smartphone / gps) without any problems.

Pulling out the zipper, I discovered another huge positive: the headphone jack on the side included the necessary cable - which is not common at all, at least for the cheaper home models - so I could connect my favorite headphones in an instant.

The inner compartment offers no other attraction than the above, I could even feel that it has enough stiffening on practically all sides except the upper part. There are no room dividers in it, I will honestly say that I was particularly pleased with this because I believe it is unnecessary to split such a size. It also means that you can use the available space more efficiently. What can be packed? Well, the frame bag in this area I don’t think will be disappointing; it fits smoothly in a power bank, handkerchief, wallet, keys, etc. And now hold on, I packed the previously presented DG530 Bluetooth speaker with an unshakable face. I’m not saying they watched me here and there when DMX - Party UP was “pounding out of my bicaj”, but it was obviously for my very sophisticated musical tastes.

You guessed it, after we thoroughly sealed the bag, then somehow you have to put it on. Nor will it be a Nobel Prize-winning challenge: with the double velcro system, we can securely fasten the bag to the frame - by implication, no tools are required for the maneuver! Okay, this also has a setback, which is manifested when you are - let's put it simply - living / walking in a tough (this) neighborhood. You know, someone else could ride the stuff in a matter of seconds, it doesn't hurt to pay attention to it. I note you will also find a rubber strap at the top end of the bag to help secure it to the handlebar. For this reason, and thanks to the two velcro fasteners mentioned earlier, you can bet a large amount that the bag will stay in place even on more shaky roads.

And now come some practical experience. The frame bag is (within certain limits) waterproof, polyester in terms of material, the upper part is of course touch screen compatible, so you can spotted it happily on the go - of course, this is a very, very ugly thing from an accident prevention point of view! By the way, I was “lucky” to experience the water-repellent ability of the stuff even in sharp conditions, I will probably test a raincoat next…

I hope the pictures adequately reflect that Roswheel cut the side of the bag that will be closer to us slightly shorter. This undoubtedly serves the purpose of improving visibility.

The big question was to what extent the use of the smartphone’s touchpad is hampered by the fact that we don’t tap directly. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s essentially negligible, even if you set the velcro of the upper compartment tight enough. So just make sure that this thin part of the TPU (which you macerate with your fingers) doesn’t swell up, because then the smartphone won’t always register our touches as a fleet. Tighten the fastening and you will be okay!

It's time to sum up. Let’s start, maybe, with the colleague reaching their goal, for now. What may be of interest to you is the following; this Roswheel frame bag offers everything you would expect in this genre at an amazing price. The use of materials and sewing is successful, for example the red dot also goes for the tab out, and in the link below you can find a copy with a reflective side strip - this is missing from mine, although it has not cost a cent less. Since I always pay close attention to durability - there’s no mercy on that, even if the stuff in question is in the penny category - I also took it for granted that the zipper puller is made of metal. Freedom of choice is, of course, yours, I will show you both the bags.
