The latest Sony Smart Lens / Digital Camera in a lens housing / transforms your smartphone into a creative camera in an instant. They are great to use as accessories and on their own, and can be easily connected to your phone wirelessly. The devices are equipped with a high-resolution sensor, 10x optical zoom or a large sensor, as well as Wi-Fi and NFC functionality.
The Sony Cyber-shot ™ DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 can be used as an accessory digital camera. It can be used with any smartphone that can handle the Playmemories Mobile 3.1 application. Smart Lens lets you capture beautiful, noise-free creative photos and detailed HD videos. Connecting is even easier for those who have an NFC-enabled device, as one-touch technology allows the camera to be connected to the phone in a single motion. In addition, there is no need for physical contact between the phone and the external camera, and image capture can be easily done by setting the Smart Lens to a specific location to capture the image from the smartphone. This makes it much easier to take photos or self-portraits with interesting perspectives. With Auto mode, the camera automatically detects the shooting conditions and adjusts the settings accordingly.
While they look like lenses at first glance, Sony’s new Smart Lens are actually digital cameras in a lens housing that can be used on their own. And the photos you take can be quickly and easily uploaded to any popular photo-sharing site.
