NEWTRAL MagicH-BP is the magical office chair
The NEWTRAL MagicH-BP is not your usual cheap Chinese gaming chair, not even close.

Introductory
I have lower back pain, and I do a lot of sedentary work. This is not a very lucky pairing. I can work up to 10-12 hours a day, which is quite extreme even for working hours, even so that I often only have time to get up from my chair for a short lunch. You can probably guess that if anyone else, I really don't care what I sit on.
To be honest, I have a pretty good gamer chair that I really like, but it turns out that two chairs will probably be needed in the office soon, so something had to be bought. I have been eyeing NEWTRAL chairs for a long time, so there was no question about what I would buy.
That is, exactly which one I will buy, yes, because the cheapest version without footrest would have been suitable, but it was out of stock. So it became the more expensive piece, the leg support. This is still the entry level for the manufacturer with its price of around HUF 80, the top now costs HUF 130 with a coupon.
Knowing Chinese prices, it is not cheap at all, but knowing what I get at home for that much, they charge a ridiculously low price for NEWTRAL MagicH-BP.
It is part of the introduction that not only the chairs are very good compared to the Chinese average, but also the company. In other words, it is not a company founded yesterday, they have been producing innovative, ergonomic office products for 11 years. They won a bunch of Red Dot and Ergonomic Design awards.
Their products are evaluated by various American companies and experts and they also obtain certificates from the USA, that's for sure. All in all, it's really not a small Chinese company, in their category approx. they represent the same level as DJI for drones.
What is NEUTRAL?
It is easier for me to quote what they say about themselves, because the few sentences are really the essence of the company and the products. All of their chairs are designed and manufactured as follows:
Since 2017, the NEWTRAL team has been adhering to the concept of "Customer focus with continuous innovation". NEWTRAL has developed and designed ergonomic chairs to relieve back pain caused by sitting office work. After many years of extensive product design and research, we designed and developed the first ergonomic chair with the perfect adaptive backrest. The NEWTRAL chair has an automatic lumbar tracking mechanism (a world first for chairs) that automatically provides continuous lumbar support in all sitting positions. This function ensures that the lower back is constantly supported to maintain proper posture. The chairs are unique on the market and provide the perfect, comfortable, healthy sitting experience. Our products have been tested and certified by IRIS SOKOL, a certified American ergonomist and health consultant.
That's it, let's see the chair!
Unpacking, assembly
The courier put the box in front of the house and I didn't know what was in it. I expected a chair and received a 50 x 50 x 45 cm box. I wanted to pick it up, but I couldn't, it turned out that the package was 25,5 kilos. Not that I couldn't lift that much, but the box didn't have a lot of grip and I honestly didn't expect a box this big to weigh this much.
At that point, of course, I was sure that this could only be my new chair!
I make a video of every unpacking, this is important to me because of the articles, but it's not unnecessary anyway. I always recommend to everyone, if you order a package, to video the unpacking, because if there is a problem with the product, the video can be used as proof.
Well, I had no problems with the product, and I had no problems with the installation of the NEWTRAL MagicH-BP.
I received a stack of all kinds, I also received a description and I also received a lot of screws. The manufacturer made sure that the screws could not be mixed up, the different sizes were marked with letters on the packaging. In the description, it was stated where the screw marked with which letter should be screwed.
What was strange compared to the cheaper Chinese chairs was that the leg of the NEWTRAL MagicH-BP, i.e. the star into which the castors are placed, was not a snap-on plastic, but a screw-on metal one. It has a decent amount of weight, but as far as I can see, it won't fall apart or break.
At first glance, the pieces are made of good materials. The seat is upholstered, the backrest is mesh. The mechanics under the seat are the best quality I've come across so far. The armrests can be pushed back and forth a lot, the mesh backrest also seems strong, of course I will see in 2-3 years what it will be like with so much use. So at first it is absolutely confidence-inspiring!
Regarding the backrest, it is important to mention that it does not matter how you screw it on to the lumbar support spring mechanism. There are three screwing locations, which one you should use depends on your body height. The body heights are also indicated next to the screwing locations, so there is no need for much investigation. For my height of 184 cm, I had to choose the highest point.
The assembly itself is not complicated, of course, as usual, some dexterity and so on doesn't hurt, but basically you don't need a degree to assemble the NEWTRAL MagicH-BP. You can expect about 20-25 minutes of installation, unless you have carbon brushless motors in your wrists.
Capabilities, i.e. what can NEWTRAL MagicH-BP do?
Well, let's start with the fact that it is very customizable. It doesn't matter if you are tall or short, it doesn't matter if your thighs are short or long. It won't be a problem if you're thin, but it won't be a problem if you're taller either, because according to the manufacturer, it can be used up to 140 kilos.
The width of the seat is 49,8 centimeters, and its height from the ground can be changed between 44,5 and 52,5 centimeters. The armrest can be raised and rotated, we can raise it approximately 8 centimeters from the lower stop point. These are not very interesting things so far, the better Chinese chairs pretty much know these capabilities. Maybe not one thing, the width of the seat, because even the more expensive gamer chairs are not that wide.
What can be seen as an extra is that not only the height but also the length of the seat can be changed. Understand that it can be pushed in, it can be pulled forward. If you do this, the length of the seat can vary between 34 and 48 cm. In other words, even if your legs are short, the 34 cm seat depth will probably be good for you too! In relation to the seat, it is also important that the cushioning has different hardnesses, it is a little softer under our back than at the thigh and is slightly raised between the two thighs. The difference is not great, but it is noticeable.
Well, what else can be said? Well, quite a lot! The height of the headrest is also adjustable, to say the least. On this more expensive chair, not only the height of the headrest can be adjusted, but also how far it should come forward towards the back of the head. I felt this was unnecessary, I always try to sit with a straight waist and back, I don't usually support my head. (maybe this is also a mistake?)
The height of the headrest can therefore be adjusted, but the headrest itself can also be tilted, so that it is further from the back of my neck at certain inclinations and closer to the back of my neck at other settings.
Let's see the backrest, because that's what's really interesting, that's the real advantage of this chair compared to its competitors!
As I wrote, the backrest itself is mesh. This mesh also stretches a little, or doesn't stretch at all, rather it just follows the line of our back. There is a support at the waist that can be slid up and down by hand. It is infinitely adjustable in height and you can adjust it to your waist height to support you in the right place.
However, what is even more interesting is the spring lumbar support/backrest support, which constantly follows your back and waist. If you lean forward it will follow you, if you lean back it will slide backwards. So no matter how much you move, no matter how much you thrash around, the support will always be there behind your back and waist. Anyway, this is also adjustable, that is, the strength of the support. You can harden it for a larger body weight, or soften it for a smaller one.
I almost forgot. The angle of the backrest can also be locked, that is, if you like to sit leaning back a little, you can fix it in one position. But you can fix not only the angle of inclination, but also the spring lumbar support. In other words, if you don't want your back to follow you, you can lock a position that is comfortable for you, and then the backrest will always remain in that position.
Of course, the backrest can also be tilted. When set to vertical, you get 96 degrees, when tilted to the deepest, 136 degrees. So this is not the completely lying position, but rather a very comfortable, chilling position. Of course, the resistance of the backrest can also be adjusted, so you won't fall backwards if you want to lean back, even if you are heavier.
There is one more thing left at the end, the footrest.
Well, it's the footrest that would be the difference between the cheapest chair and the one I bought. I was like, I don't really need a leg brace. I already had a gamer chair with footrests (from China), the footrests were crap. It was difficult to use and I was never sure if it would break. So I was like, I don't need a leg brace. But it is on this chair.
Use and experience
Well, I've been in my new chair for about 3 weeks now. So far, the shape of the seat hasn't changed in all this time, I hope to be able to say the same in a year or two. After the gamer chairs, it was a little strange at first that there is no side support for my thighs, but this is quite common. I also had to get used to it when I bought my first gaming chair.
This is an office chair, so the focus is on comfort and ergonomics, not on not falling out of the chair during a wild game.
As I wrote, there is a footrest, which I thought I would never need. Then the NEWTRAL MagicH-BP arrived and my opinion changed somewhat. I don't think I'll use the footrest much, but I know it won't break. It is strong, well put together, designed and really comfortable. I can adjust how much I should pull out, my calf rests on two padded parts. If I tilt the chair back to the resting state, the footrest is very good, I finally don't have to put my feet on the table if I need to rest for 10 minutes while writing an article.
I'll be completely honest, I had to get used to NEWTRAL MagicH-BP. In the first few days, I found it difficult to find common ground with him. It kind of pressed everywhere, nothing stood as I was used to with my other chair. Then I started fine tuning.
First, I adjusted the height of the lumbar support properly, then the next day I adjusted the back tracking spring thing back and forth until I found a comfortable hardness that already holds it (I don't fall into the chair), but it doesn't take a lot of effort for my waist to push it when I want to go back to lean. In the end, I adjusted the hardness of the backrest tilt, the armrest, and now everything has been in place for a good week and a half.
I have a feeling that my posture wasn't right until now either, because in the case of NEWTRAL MagicH-BP, my bottom somehow moved further back and the curve in my spine is bigger (a little deeper) than at the waist. So I think that even though I thought I was sitting straight, I actually slouched a bit in my previous chair. It's true, I felt comfortable even when I was a little bent over.
I must also honestly say that this backrest thing didn't make much of a difference either. For some reason I thought it would be crazy good, much, much better than my previous chair. Well, it's actually better, especially since I've completely customized it now, but I have to say that an expensive gamer's chair can be this comfortable, albeit in a slightly different way. The ergonomics are different there, the point is different. It's a little harder, it holds better on the sides in the waist and thighs.
However, it cannot be denied that the NEWTRAL MagicH-BP stands out by far among the office chairs and all but one of the gamer chairs I have met so far. But of course, it was so much in terms of price, at least in terms of value, because everything has become a little more expensive since it was there, and the HUF is also worth less.
Conclusion
I'll try to summarize what has happened so far. So here is this chair called NEWTRAL MagicH-BP, which I expected a lot from, maybe more than I should have. It's not that it's uncomfortable or doesn't know much, but rather that I expected more compared to the expensive gamer chair I've used so far. So my first advice is, if you have an expensive gaming chair and you don't have any problems with it anyway, don't replace it.
However, if you have a cheap gamer chair or a cheap office chair, then the switch is definitely worth it!
The NEWTRAL MagicH-BP turned out to be a very well-customizable chair, but I think this has already become clear to you from the description. There will be no problem here if you are thin and short, nor if you are tall and have wide hips. Of course, there is a limit here too, there is 54 cm of space between the two armrests, if you book more than that, you either don't install the armrest or you get stuck. But I think 54 cm is princely for such a chair.
The seat is not too soft, I like that, it is said that even hemorrhoids really like chairs with cushions. In other words, you will get acne sooner on a chair with too soft padding.
Summer is coming, there have already been a few warm days, and now it's very nice not to have a closed backrest behind me. I don't like air conditioning, I only use it when absolutely necessary, a fan in the other half of the room runs at minimum speed, but even so, I can feel its gentle movement of air on my back. I think it will be pleasant even in the heatwave.
If you are asking whether NEWTRAL MagicH-BP is worth the price, then my answer is a definite yes. I wouldn't dare to say that there is nothing better in the world (because I don't know all the chairs), but I can say with great confidence that you won't be able to get close to this quality for this much money at domestic prices.
Okay, so finally the price. The NEWTRAL MagicH-BP chair is delivered to you from an EU warehouse.
