Last year, when Qualcomm unveiled its latest and most powerful system chip, the Snapdragon 835, many manufacturers announced a device based on it. However, Qualcomm had trouble making the new chip, so eventually Samsung could be the first with the new Galaxy S, and in China, Xiaomi could introduce the Mi 6.
When the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 was introduced a few months ago, Xiaomi was once again among the first to announce a phone built on the chip. It couldn’t have been anything other than the next flagship, the Mi 7.
