Newer Deneb core AMD processors on the horizon.
January 20th In our writing, colleague Skipper brought a smile to the faces of AMD sympathizers with the unveiling of the Phenom II X4 950, but this grin can be drawn even wider, as Advanced Micro Devices will not only launch the aforementioned 3,1 GHz quad core in the second half of the year.
The Phenom II X4 960, 970, 980 and 990 all work at higher clock speeds, however, the TDP remains 125 W:
- Phenom II X4 950 (3,10 GHz, 15,5 × 200)
- Phenom II X4 960 (3,20 GHz, 16 × 200)
- Phenom II X4 970 (3,30 GHz, 16,5 × 200)
- Phenom II X4 980 (3,40 GHz, 17 × 200)
- Phenom II X4 990 (3,50 GHz, 17,5 × 200)
