After installation, MSI Afterburner allows the user to adjust the clock speed of the GPU, shaders and memory, and to control the fan speed. Additional features include monitoring card temperatures, clocks, and voltages, the ability to create different profiles, and change the appearance of the program.

The new version includes support for the latest video cards, bug fixes, further improvements to the hardware database format and a new frame rate graph module.
