ASRock cannot sell Phantom Gaming graphics cards on the old continent.

Pushed out with fans at AMD

We have reported a number of news stories that ASRock plans to launch its first family of video cards in mid-April. The news was confirmed, and fans of the brand were excited to see when the news would show up on store shelves. But over time, the patience ran out, and as more and more people began to bombard the company with their questions, it was forced to admit: AMD did not allow the product line to be sold in Europe, so the Phantom Gaming series is (currently) only available in Asia.

After NVIDIA GPP (which, by the way, has already been officially withdrawn), it has some piquancy that AMD is discriminating against one of its partners in this way. It’s probably that the company isn’t doing as well in the Far East as it is in Europe, so they don’t want to disrupt the current partnership here, instead putting Asia on the shoulders of ASRock.
