Introduction, what is this article about?
In the world of smartwatches, it's becoming increasingly difficult to stand out from the crowd, but the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus does it relatively successfully with its impressive design but not outstanding functionality. However, this premium-looking smartwatch is not just a fashion accessory, but a true companion in everyday life.
The BlitzWolf brand has undergone significant development in recent years and has now become a reliable manufacturer of affordable yet quality smart devices. In their AT6 Plus model, they have focused all their knowledge and experience to create a truly complete smartwatch, or rather, an activity tracker that most closely resembles a watch.
The huge 1,75-inch AMOLED display is not only eye-catching, but also extremely practical in everyday use. The information displayed is clear, vivid and relatively easy to read even in sunlight. The 466 x 466 pixel resolution ensures that every detail is perfectly displayed, making the “mechanical” dials look almost 3D.
What makes the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus smartwatch truly unique is its built-in flashlight feature. This is a rare feature on smartwatches, but it can be extremely useful in dark environments when there is no other light source at hand. The flashlight is also well-placed, located on the top of the watch, making it easy to control and use.
The BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is not far behind its competitors in terms of health functions: heart rate measurement, blood oxygen level monitoring and sleep monitoring are also available. For athletes and those leading an active lifestyle, it is possible to track more than 100 different sports activities.
The phone functions are not left out either: the Bluetooth calling function allows you to make calls directly from the watch without having to take out your phone. This is especially useful while driving or in situations where you don't have easy access to your device.
The impressive 600 mAh battery provides an outstanding battery life of up to 14 days with average use, significantly outperforming most competing models. This feature is especially valuable for those who don't want to plug their watch into a charger every day or even every week.
Okay, that's enough of a teaser, let's dive into the details!
The BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus – Premium Design
The BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is a striking smartwatch at first glance, boasting a robust yet elegant design. The round display is surrounded by a solid, metallic-effect case, which not only looks stylish, but also suggests durability. This model may be a particularly attractive choice for those who like masculine, larger watches.
There are three textured buttons on the side of the watch, the middle one of which is rotatable. This ergonomic solution allows you to navigate the watch's menu system without even touching the display.
I have to add here as an opinion that, in a way that is incomprehensible to me, we can navigate the menu, but we cannot select the menu item with the physical button. However, the button can be pressed, so it would have been a given.
The buttons are well-placed, easy to reach and use during everyday wear. Pressing the middle button turns the watch (display) on and off, while the top and bottom buttons activate different functions.
One of the unique features of the BW-AT6 Plus, as mentioned above, is the light located on the top of the watch. This is not just an illuminated display like other similar watches, but a real, built-in LED light that provides a wide beam of light and can be especially useful in dark environments. The location of the light is ideal as it can be easily controlled regardless of the position of the hand, unlike some competing products where the location close to the wrist can limit usability.
The back of the watch houses the health sensors that measure heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and other biometric data. The back is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably on the wrist, even when worn for extended periods. The sensor island doesn't protrude too much, so it doesn't put pressure on the wrist.
The strap is made of flexible silicone with a perforated design, which is not only stylish, but also comfortable to wear during sports or everyday use. I'm not saying that I haven't come across better, more pleasant-to-the-touch ones, but it serves its purpose well.
The dimensions of the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus are impressive: the case measures approximately 51 x 51 x 12 mm, which puts it in the category of large smartwatches. The strap is 260 mm long and 22 mm wide, ensuring that it fits most wrist sizes. We did not find specific information about the weight of the watch, but based on the descriptions, it is a fairly massive, heavy piece, which is partly due to the large battery.
Charging is done via a magnetic connector that can only be connected to the watch in one way, thus eliminating problems caused by improper connection. The charging cable has a two-pin design, which allows for safe and stable charging. The charging time is specified as 4-5 hours, which is acceptable considering the size of the 600 mAh battery.
With IP67 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, the BW-AT6 Plus can withstand the rigors of everyday use. This means it can withstand dust, short-term water immersion, extreme temperatures, and even minor shocks. All of this makes for a truly durable and reliable smartwatch that can withstand the harshest conditions.
What does MIL-STD-810H compliance mean?
Mechanical resistance
- Impact resistance: The watch can withstand the stresses of hard impacts and falls (e.g., drop test from 1,2 to 1,5 meters onto concrete).
- Vibration resistance: Able to withstand constant mechanical vibrations, such as when used in military vehicles or motor vehicles.
Temperature resistance
- Extreme temperatures: The watch must remain functional in extreme cold and heat (for example, testing between -40°C and +70°C).
- Temperature shock: It must withstand rapid temperature changes without failure (e.g. a sudden change from -20 °C to +50 °C).
Dust and sand resistance
- The watch must undergo tests where fine sand and dust are exposed to it for long periods of time to verify the effectiveness of the seals.
Water and moisture resistance
- Although MIL-STD-810H is not the same as With IP ratings, some tests in the standard may include high humidity, intense rain or even short-term water immersion.
Protection against altitude and pressure changes
- The watch must remain functional in low-pressure environments, such as high altitudes (up to 12 meters).
Corrosion resistance
- Testing with salt spray or other corrosive substances confirms that the watch is sufficiently resistant to rust and chemicals.
Radiation and sunlight resistance
- The standard tests for damage caused by UV radiation, such as fading or structural weakening of materials.
It is important to note that the MIL-STD-810H compliance is not an official certification, but rather a series of tests that manufacturers may perform in their own laboratories or at independent testing centers. For this reason, it is worth checking whether a particular smartwatch has actually passed certified tests or whether they are just referring to this standard for marketing purposes.
BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus – Is this high-tech?
The BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus boasts impressive technical parameters here and there, starting with the outstanding size and quality of the display. The 1,75-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels provides exceptional image quality, dazzling us with vivid colors and truly deep blacks. Thanks to AMOLED technology, the watch also supports the always-on display function.
In terms of communication options, the BW-AT6 Plus uses Bluetooth version 5.3, which provides better connection stability and more efficient power consumption compared to previous Bluetooth versions. The device is compatible with phones running Android 6.0 or later and iOS 10.0 or later. Pairing and management are done via the FitCloud Pro application, which is available in many languages, including Hungarian.
In terms of health and fitness functions, the BW-AT6 Plus offers a complete solution. The built-in sensors can measure heart rate, blood oxygen level (SpO2) and, according to the distributor's website, blood pressure. Although it is important to note that these values are for informational purposes only and are not suitable for medical diagnosis. The watch supports more than 100 different sports modes, including walking, running, cycling, swimming, yoga and many other activities. However, in the absence of GPS, the accuracy of distance measurement is limited, it uses the phone's GPS for precise positioning.
Another outstanding feature of the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus (besides the display) is the extremely high-capacity 600 mAh battery. This provides 10-14 days of battery life with average use, but according to the manufacturer, up to 70-90 days of standby time is possible, I think if we don't look at it or touch it. The full charge time is 4-5 hours. In terms of power management, the watch also offers various power-saving modes that can further increase the battery life.
The BlackWolf BW-AT6 Plus has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, which means it can withstand dust and short-term immersion in water. However, the manufacturer does not recommend wearing it while swimming, as it is not a device specifically designed for swimming. Compliance with the MIL-STD-810H military standard provides extra durability, withstanding extreme temperatures, drops, and other environmental effects, which I wrote about above.
The smart features of the device include Bluetooth calling, which allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch. The watch also has a built-in microphone and speaker. Other practical features include music playback control, camera remote control, alarm clock, stopwatch, weather forecast and phone finder. The watch also supports customizable watch faces that can be downloaded and changed via the FitCloud Pro app.
In terms of system language, the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is extremely diverse, supporting Chinese, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Croatian, Turkish, Dutch and Hindi, among others. The default language is English, but we can easily switch to the language that suits us through the FitCloud Pro application, including Hungarian from the listed options.
Application – FitCloud Pro
Let's start with the bad. There is Hungarian in the application, but the translation was excruciatingly bad. Sorry, I could have written this in a more civilized way, but I suddenly couldn't think of a more expressive adjective. I usually say that with some products we can encounter funny or embarrassing mistranslations, but in the case of FitCloud Pro, these adjectives simply wouldn't cover the reality. I'm not saying that this makes the app unusable, but it would be better if it weren't like that, because to exploit the full potential of the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus smartwatch, we need to install the FitCloud Pro application on our smartphone.
This application is the central element of the entire ecosystem, connecting the watch to our phone and allowing us to change various settings and analyze data in detail. Downloading the application is extremely easy, either by scanning the QR code in the user manual or directly from the Google Play Store and the App Store. The FitCloud Pro interface is intuitive and user-friendly, if we don't bother with the translation. On the home screen, we can immediately see a summary of our daily activity, including step count, distance traveled and calories burned. The data visualization is excellent, and we can easily track our progress with the help of various graphs and charts. In addition to daily data, we can also view weekly and monthly summaries, which is also suitable for analyzing long-term trends.

In terms of health monitoring, FitCloud Pro offers a lot of detailed information. The heart rate measurement not only shows instantaneous values, but also displays the data on a 24-hour graph, indicating the highest, lowest and average values. Blood oxygen level (SpO2) monitoring is similarly detailed, although in addition to the normal range of 95-100% shown on the graph, values above 100% can sometimes be displayed, which may indicate a minor software bug. During sleep monitoring, it distinguishes between deep and light sleep, although it does not display the REM phase, a feature missing from this version of the software.
One of the most valuable features of FitCloud Pro is the ability to customize the watch faces. Through the application, you can choose from a number of pre-installed, great-looking watch faces, or download new ones. It is important to note that you can only use one unique watch face on the watch at a time, if you want to install a new one, you will have to replace the previous one. Among the watch faces, you can find both analog and digital, in different styles and functions, so everyone can find the most pleasant and practical version for themselves.

The tracking of sports activities is also extremely detailed in the FitCloud Pro application. We can track the data of various workouts, such as distance, duration, pace, calorie burn and heart rate zones, in detail. The application also functions as a training diary, where we can look back on our previous activities and compare our performance. We can even synchronize sports data with Google Fit or other health applications if we want to get a more comprehensive picture of our fitness activities. I should mention that there is no GPS in the watch, the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus uses the phone's location for accurate measurements.
Notification management is also excellent in the FitCloud Pro app. You can choose which app notifications you want to display on your watch to avoid unnecessary distractions. You can also set various reminders, such as a reminder to move after long periods of inactivity or water reminders to stay hydrated.

FitCloud Pro also offers additional practical features, such as a wallet function with support for various payment methods, a business card function that allows you to quickly share your data with your friends, and various alarm and notification settings. The application supports running in the background, ensuring continuous data synchronization and notifications. It is also outstanding in terms of language support, available in many languages, including Hungarian, which makes it significantly easier for domestic users to manage.
Two Weeks in the Company of BW-AT6 Plus – Real User Experiences
When I first picked up the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus smartwatch, I immediately noticed its size and weight. This is not necessarily a disadvantage, but rather a conscious design decision, as the larger case provides more space for the battery and various functions, and let's face it, if we can't drive a Ferrari, at least our watch should be big. The zinc alloy case gives the watch a premium feel, although I have to add that its size may seem too big on smaller wrists.
The display impressed me from the moment I turned it on. The 1,75-inch AMOLED panel produces incredibly vivid colors and deep blacks, which is especially useful when displaying various watch faces. The 466 x 466 pixel resolution really shows every detail crystal clear, whether it's text, icons, or graphs. Brightness adjustment is quickly accessible from the drop-down menu, and even at maximum brightness, the display remains legible in bright sunlight.
The drop-down menu is a really good thing, and compared to its competitors, it allows for easy and quick access to many functions. I really liked that about this watch!
The use of the side buttons was a pleasant surprise for me. Rotating the middle button makes navigating the menu much easier, but as I wrote above, I feel it's a huge missed opportunity that we can't select the menu item we're currently on by pressing the button. This would be an even bigger own goal if the watch was also suitable for swimming, because the touch-sensitive display doesn't work underwater, so in that case the lack of control with physical buttons would be a capital mistake, and therefore just a minor annoyance.
There is one more thing I really don't like about the buttons, and that is that they cannot be programmed, which means that the personalization of the watch suffers. So in my opinion, this is another missed opportunity, as it would be useful to have quick access to the built-in light with a single press of a button. Currently, the light can only be activated from the pull-down quick menu.
The light turned out to be one of the most practical features of the watch during my testing. The LED located at the top provides wide, good lighting, which is excellent for use in dark rooms (I finally didn't kick the corner of the bed apart when I stumbled into the place where the king walks at night). The light has a slightly yellowish tint, perhaps a little whiter in the middle, which results in pleasant, not too cold lighting. The only drawback is that, as I wrote, there is no dedicated button to turn it on and off, you have to use the menu every time.
I had mixed experiences with the health features, and I was putting it mildly at the time. The heart rate monitor worked reliably, and the readings were consistent with other devices. The blood oxygen level monitor was generally in the healthy range of 95-99%. I always note here that testing this in real life is tricky, because if your blood oxygen level drops below 95 percent, you are no longer in a state to test anything, you are more likely to fight for your life. So let's just say that for now I am alive, I don't feel bad, and the blood oxygen level shows this on the watch.
Regarding health functions, it is important to note that although blood pressure measurement is included in the specification, there is no trace of it in the watch. And that's good! It shouldn't be, it would just be a peasant's blind spot, and we don't need it!
The Bluetooth calling feature was a pleasant surprise, but not for the first time, this feature usually works well in today's cheap watches. The built-in speaker is surprisingly loud and clear, and the microphone picked up my voice well even when moving. It is also possible to listen to music directly through the watch, although of course we cannot expect the quality expected by audiophiles. It is important to mention that the audio connection for Bluetooth calling and music must be activated separately in the application, which was not obvious at first, but I found information about this in the user manual.
The battery life is truly impressive. After a full charge, I used the watch for almost two weeks under normal conditions, with daily activity tracking, notifications, and occasional heart rate monitoring, before I had to put it back on the charger. This significantly outperforms most competing models, which often need charging after 1-2 days. The charging time was indeed around 4-5 hours, which is not the fastest, but acceptable considering the battery capacity.
Pairing with the FitCloud Pro app was easy and data syncing worked without any issues. The app provides detailed insights into all your data, from daily activity to heart rate to sleep quality. The sleep monitoring only differentiates between light and deep sleep phases, and does not display REM sleep, which limits deeper analysis of sleep quality. The app's graphs are informative and easy to understand, although I did find some minor errors in some cases (such as the blood oxygen level graph).
Notification handling is adequate, though not outstanding. Messages are readable on the watch, but you can't reply to them. Font size and general readability are good, but scrolling through longer messages is a bit cumbersome. The weather forecast is accurate and easy to interpret, provided the watch is connected to your phone and has an internet connection.
The sports tracking features are sufficient for most users, although serious (or only moderately serious) athletes will probably miss the built-in GPS. The pedometer is accurate enough, but the distance measurement is less accurate without GPS. The ability to track over 100 different sports is impressive, although most users will probably only use a few of them regularly.
Overall, the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is a surprisingly well-equipped, reliable and long-lasting smartwatch. The large AMOLED display, built-in flashlight and excellent battery life are all features that make it stand out in its category. Despite the IP67 protection, I would not recommend using it for swimming, as the manufacturer notes. The price-performance ratio of the device is extremely good, especially considering the premium look and rich functionality.
I once asked a manufacturer why you can't swim in a watch that is otherwise pressure-resistant, why they don't recommend the watch for swimming, or even for showering. The answer I got was that although the watch is indeed pressure-resistant, meaning that water cannot leak in due to the pressure, this is only true if the watch is not moved. Because the higher pressure and movement together result in a water flow that allows water to enter the watch. Everyone should evaluate for themselves how realistic this explanation can be.
One more thing. If a watch meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard, it usually also meets the IP69 and IP69K standards, and this is no coincidence, since there is some overlap between the standards. Regarding this watch, let's just say that in my opinion, with IP67 water resistance (which is what the manufacturer stated), it is not guaranteed to meet all points of the MIL-STD-810H military standard.
BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus – Final Review
The BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is a remarkable entry into the mid-range smartwatch market, successfully combining premium looks with practical functionality. The outstanding 1,75-inch AMOLED display, robust metal case, and built-in flashlight are all features that set it apart from the competition. Particularly impressive is the up to two-week battery life provided by the 600 mAh battery, which is a rarity in the world of smartwatches.
In terms of health and fitness features, the BW-AT6 Plus offers a fairly comprehensive solution for the average user. Heart rate measurement, blood oxygen level monitoring, and sleep analysis are reasonably accurate, although it is important to emphasize that these values are for informational purposes only and do not replace medical devices. Sports activity tracking is extensive, although the lack of built-in GPS limits accurate distance measurement, which may be a drawback for athletes.
The BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is easy to use, with three side buttons providing a convenient, almost perfect user experience. The FitCloud Pro app's intuitive interface and detailed data display complement the watch's functionality well. Notification management, Bluetooth calling, and music control are all convenience features that enhance everyday usability.
In conclusion, and perhaps these will be the most important sentences of this article, the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is an entry-level activity tracker disguised as a serious smartwatch by the manufacturer. It looks awesome, the display is really eye-catching, the built-in flashlight is a great idea, and the exceptionally long battery life is just the icing on the cake. However, it is just an activity tracker, and if you buy it with that in mind, you are guaranteed not to be disappointed!
Overall, the BlitzWolf BW-AT6 Plus is a great choice for those looking for a reliable, versatile, and long-lasting smartwatch/activity tracker without spending a fortune. The product will be particularly appealing to those who prefer larger watches, who appreciate the excellent display quality and the practicality of the built-in light. Aside from the size and weight considerations, as well as the limitations of water resistance, the BW-AT6 Plus is a smartwatch that offers excellent value for money and will be able to satisfy the needs of many users.
